HOW TO REACH SOFIA
• Most travelers arrive at Sofia Airport. Over 20 airlines operate service
to/from Sofia, with direct flights to/from many European cities. The drive from
the airport to the city center is a short one and should not take more than 20-
30 minutes. Sofia Metro Line 1 (Red) operates service to the airport between
5:30 and 24:00. The stop is located in the eastern part of Terminal 2.
• International trains go from here to Greece, Serbia, Romania and beyond.
• By car Access to Bulgaria's Capital is via several entry points: 1. From the
North & South via E79/A6 2. From the East - via Thrace Highway E80/A1-A3
or from the old road paralleling the E80 Highway 3. From the West - via
A1/E80.

The conference consists of plenary lectures, regular, special and poster sessions. It will
focus on recent trends and advances in circuit design, including but not limited to:

◾Systems ◾Signals ◾Neuromorphic & Biomedical Circuits

The program includes Special Sessions, aiming at complementing the regular program
with emerging topics of interest to the circuit design community. In addition, there will
be a Live Demo Session where authors show their latest working hardware.

BULGARIAN ACADEMY OF SCIENCES
The Bulgarian Academy of Sciences is the leading scientific, spiritual and expert center of Bulgaria for
150 years. It conducts research, training and activities of national and international importance and
solves problems related to the development of Bulgarian society and state.
The Academy has a consistent policy for the development of science and innovation as a condition for
economic progress in the country. It is an active participant in the European Research Area.
Today, BAS comprises 42 autonomous scientific units and is an organization governed in accordance
with democratic principles. The Academy employs about 3,000 scientists, accounting for about 15% of
those engaged with science in Bulgaria. BAS produces about half of the scientific output in the country.
