In view of “Engineer’s Day”, on 15-09-2013, the ECE Association celebrated on 14-9-2013 (Since 15-9-

2013 is Sunday), the association arranged a seminar on “Electronic Engineers Evaluation” presented by

Mrs.P.Sunitha, Assoc.prof, ECE Department, which was held in computer lab of ECE Department. In that

seminar, the resources persons were clearly explained how electronic engineers were evolved and their

contribution to the field of electronics and communication too. For that seminar all the teaching and non-

teaching staff were attended and the program was made successful.

As per the directions given by G.V.R. Prasad Raju, Registrar, JNTUK, Kakinada, the department of ECE

conducted Essay writing and Elocution competition to the students of ECE, on the occasion of National

Educational day on 11-11-2013. Which we are celebrating the birth anniversary of Maulana Abdul Kalam

Azad.Many Students from the department took active participation in both the competition and performed

well.

Our II ECE students organized Fresher’s day on 18

th November 2013, at 12pm in our college to giving warm

welcome to their juniors. The directors, principal, head of the department and other important faculty members

were given a very wholehearted welcome. Our college principal Dr.S.Shambu Prasad sir gave his wonderful

advice to their future, followed by our head of department Mr.V.Prasanth. The 2nd

year students conducting

game to the juniors like QUIZ CONTEST, BALL IN CUP, and STRAW GAME, after that the cultural started

which included some mesmerizing and excellent performances by seniors and juniors. One of the senior troupe

sang a song which was composed by them and it was very creative. After the cultural, the prize distribution took

the centre stage, when our respected Staff members of our department distributed the prizes to the junior

students for the games conducted. To make this event much more memorable, seniors gave the juniors a photo

frame, in which a group photo of their respective classes was given to them. Thus a wonderful fresher’s day

celebrations filled with heart-warming and heart touching moments came to end on a wonderful note.
