Eng. Zayas will present all the advancements in Photovoltaic Energy Generation. He will begin with a Regional Map which will describe in detail the Solar Energy capacity for the Region, and proceed to compare all technologies for Panels (Poly vs. Mono), Inverters (Micro Inverters vs. String Inverters), and supporting hardware. As the number one Consultant Engineer in the Caribbean, and a Master Instruc-tor for the Caribbean on PV, Zayas will enlighten us all.

Dr. Laino will begin by presenting a detailed map of Wind patterns in order to clearly understand the Regional potential for WIND energy. He will then proceed to present the latest technologies available today for wind generation by compar-ing horizontal, vertical, magnetic levitation, and more.

Mr. Persaud will present advances made in cooling system efficiencies with variable refrigerant flow. He will also compare this system with all other HVAC systems and how the variable dehumidifier helps high humidity locations like the Caribbean and Central America. Besides efficiency and energy consumption, he will cover how our quality of life can improve substantially with these systems.

Julie Roberts will cover all the developments in Solar Panels, Batteries, LED Lighting Fixtures, and of course the Controllers, which have contributed to more light and longer sustainability for Solar Lighting Systems. He will also present a new GRID TIED battery-less System for Solar Lighting which was just introduced into the Market. Mr. Bourquin will present solu-tions in a smaller scale with Solar Bollards, which operate in similar fashion but smaller scale.

Mr. Ritchlin will talk about Energy Monitoring Systems and the flexibility and visibility they offer Property Owners. He will also present the importance of accurate monitoring in order to analyze consumption patterns and how to minimize energy waste. Before we can fix the problem we must clearly understand the situation.
