Ebenezer Baptist Church November 2017 Newsletter People of God, Reaching Everyone with the Love of Christ
PAYING IT FORWARD
Ebenezer ... We are BLESSED. That is the only way I know how to express it. We had such an awesome day yesterday (Oct. 29) as we celebrated the first Homecoming service we've had in decades, and then had a terrific Fall Festival in the afternoon. It was an all-around good day!! Many of you are tired and had to drag into work and other events this morning, but your efforts continue to help build God's kingdom!! I am thankful!! (I am especially thankful for our church staff and volunteer leaders, who continue to work behind the scenes and make all of these things come to life!)
I am most thankful for the opportunities God places in our paths. Ebenezer, we have so much potential in our lives EVERYDAY that we cannot measure it!! What excites me MOST about where we are in the life of our church is this: We have more potential in front of us than history behind us!! We have so many opportunities to share the Gospel, to reach out, to make a difference ... And we need to get busy doing just those things!!!
I am praying for YOU this month, Ebenezer. Let's all pray for each other, and pay God's blessings forward into the world around us!! David
