eBay Connector module is used to synchronize the products, category, and orders from eBay to Magento2Store and sync products from Magento2 store to eBay. The admin can get all the products from eBay using thiswonderful module. Admin can also get all the categories & orders related to these synchronized eBay products.

Features

Configuration

After the successful installation of eBay Connector module, you will need to fill your eBay developer keys(appid, certid, devid, userid, authtoken) from https://developer.ebay.com/ account. If don’t have an account thencreate an account and get these required keys as under –

-First you need to login to your account at https://developer.ebay.com/, after login you will see all the informationdisplayed for the App Id, Dev ID, Cert ID. You need to fill these details while configuring the module. Next to AppID click on option “User Token” to generate token.

-After you click on “User Token” you will see a Sandbox “Sign-in” option. Click sign-in to access sandbox andanother page will open up where you can type your credentials like the username and password for the sandboxfor logging in.

After login you will see a notification for “Grant Application Access” click “I Agree” and you will be redirected backto see your User Token generated.

Now you can proceed to the admin configuration part where you need to fill these details.

In the Admin panel, follow the path Store > Configuration > eBay Magento Connect and enter details for thesynchronization.

All fields are required for the synchronization from eBay. Admin can get eBay category by downloading eBaycategory.

Below shown are the three tabs that will be available to the admin after the installation of the module. Now theadmin can sync product, category, and order from eBay.

Map Category

At the time of mapping, eBay Condition and Specification will be created as Product attributes and eBay variationwill be created as Super Attributes (used for configurable products). From the system, admin can add pricebased on super attributes option. The admin can map category, under eBay Magento Connector > MapCategory option like the image below.

Admin will click on “Map Category” option and then a new page will open like the below image.

Now, here admin will map eBay product category to Magento 2 category.

Now, the admin can view product attributes ( condition, specification, and variations) while editing and addingproduct. Magento2 super attributes created for variations will be displayed while adding a new Configurableproduct.

Map Product

The admin can synchronize products from eBay to Magento2 and from Magento2 to eBay. Please check theimage below for the better understanding.

Given below are the steps for Product Mapping.

1. Import Product from eBay

When the admin will click on “Import Product from eBay”, then product data will be created and stored inMagento2 database.

2. Run eBay Product Profiler

When the admin will click on “Run eBay Product Profiler”, then products will be created on Magento2 store fromMagento2 Database (synchronized from eBay).

3. Import Product to eBay

After clicking the “Import products To eBay“, the admin will see a pop-up window. Here, the admin will enter

the specific product SKU that he wants to import to eBay or you may leave this section as empty to importall the products at the same time to eBay.

After clicking the “Import Product“, you will see the below screen. Now, when the synchronization is completeyou can see the total number of products imported on to the eBay.

For the above example, we have just tried importing a product from Magento 2 to eBay.

After this import, you can log in to your eBay account to check whether the product has been created or not asshown below in the snapshot.

Ebay Specification & Condition management

At the time of Category mapping, eBay Product Condition and Specification will be created as Product attributesin Magento2 and these attributes label will be followed by eBay category name from where eBay condition andspecification came. Ebay specification option will come for every product in the back-end while editing or addingany new product. In eBay specification, admin can see various attributes with the label.

Ebay Variation management

At the time of Category mapping, eBay Product variation will be created as a Super attributes (used inconfigurable products) in Magento2 and these super attributes label will be followed by eBay category namefrom where eBay variation came.

Map order

Before synchronizing orders from eBay to Magento2, make sure that all products are synchronized from theeBay store to Magento2 store.

1. Import Order from eBay

The admin will click on “Import Order from eBay” and then an order will be imported from eBay to Magento2store.

If the eBay Product is not synced with Magento2 store then the system will throw an error.

2. Run eBay Order Profiler

Now the admin will click on “Run eBay Order Profiler” and orders from eBay will be imported and admin can seehow much orders are imported and how many orders are left.

The admin can get an error message if the eBay Order id is already mapped with Magento Order id beforerunning the profiler.

Note : A cron is set which automatically synchronize the eBay orders every few minutes or hours whatever is setby the admin.
