MOVEMENT BLANKS Our movement blank manufacturing workshop combines human skill with technical perfor-mance to benefit your projects:• Our «EMP tray» provides an ideal base for ma-

chining with more than 400 different compo-nents

• Our bank of customised CNC transfer machines provides machining power and flexibility du-ring production, allowing us to offer runs from 1,000 to 100,000 kits (main plates and bridges), according to your needs

• The expertise of our staff and specialists en-sures that technical advice and industrialisa-tion meet your needs

Our modern testing equipment guarantees qual-ity via continuous SPC and three-dimensional tests carried out throughout the production pro-cess.We offer a range of different aesthetic finishes to meet your criteria, and can also take on the as-sembly of your components.

MICROENGINEERINGThe microengineering workshop services the watchmaking, microelectronics and connectors industries.A team of around ten microengineers and stamp makers develop, design and create the tooling required for production.This fully integrated workshop is equipped with the latest generation of grinding and erosion machines. The training provided to apprentice microengineers ensures the stable future of both this workshop and the watchmaking micro-engineering tradition.

HISTORYPrécis-Trame SA was founded in 1983 after the closure of the regional movement blank factories, including Unitas SA.In 1987, to meet the growing need for movement blanks for mechani-cal watches, Precitrame SA started developing its own CNC transfer machines.Since 1990, the machines department has been selling its equipment to the largest watchmaking brands, while the movement blank depart-ment has become their sub-contractor.In 2001, following changes to its machines department, Precitrame SA was split into two distinct companies:• Ebauches Micromécanique Precitrame SA, specialising in the manu-

facture of watchmaking and microtechnical components, with 120 members of staff

• Precitrame Machines SA, focusing on the design and sales of CNC transfer machines
