INTERNATIONAL and COFA ADMISSIONS CHECKLIST INTERNATIONAL - Students who are non-immigrants studying in the U.S. on F-1 or K-1 visas

Completed and signed application – Use your full legal name. The application is available to print or to complete online. Submit $90 application fee (non-refundable). For admission procedures go to eou.edu/admissions/international-proce-dures.

Submit official transcripts from previous school(s) – Official high school transcript and verification of diploma must be translated into English.

Transfer students: must include official transcripts from all colleges, universities and professional schools attended. Tran-scripts must show all grades/marks earned along with credits/hours earned.

Affidavit of Support and financial documentation – Students must submit an official copy of personal or parent/sponsor bank statement for the listed amount on the Affidavit of Support. Go to eou.edu/admissions/international-procedures and click on “Affidavit of Support”.

If English is not your native language, proof of proficiency is required. Contact TOEFL to order official scores and use EOU’s school code: 4300.

*InterviewThe International Student Services Office may invite you to participate in a verbal interview to assess your English comprehension and com-munication skills. Interviews will be arranged through a Skype video call or via telephone if video conferencing services are not available.

PACIFIC ISLAND STUDENTS - Compact of Free Association students (COFA)

Completed and signed application Use your full legal name. The application is available to print or to complete online. Submit $50 application fee (non-refundable). For admission procedures go to eou.edu/admissions/in-ternational-procedures. When applying: a. Select the “United States” as your country under the Personal Information section, then when filling out your address, type in your city and state. The state is your residing U.S. Territory (for example, Marshall Islands, Palau, etc.) b. Leave Social Security section blank.

Submit official transcripts from previous school(s) Freshman students: (Students that have not attended any college, university or technical school) must include an official high school transcript and verification of diploma.

Transfer students: Must send official transcripts from all colleges, universities and professional schools attended Tran-scripts must show all grades/marks earned along with credits/hours earned.

Send official transcripts to the Office of Admissions demonstrating a 2.25 GPA or better with a minimum of 30 transfer-able quarter credits (or 20 transferable semester credits) from an accredited college or university. Applicants with less than 72 hours or 60 semester transferable college credit hours must submit an official high school transcript.
