17 Nov Ubud |Amed Bus pickup from Ananda cottages Ubud at 10:30am and depart in private group vehicle to Amed. Enroute visit Bails most significant Hindu temple, Pura Gunung Kawi, Goa Gajah, Besakih, Arrive check into hotel relax.

Candi Gunung Kawi…At the bottom of a lush river valley running through the little town

of Tampaksiring just northeast of Ubud lies one of Bali’s largest ancient temple complexes,

the Candi Gunung Kawi. Comprising a collection of ancient 'Candi' or shrine reliefs carved

directly into the face of a rock cliff, this is definitely one of the most stunningly unique

archaeological sites besides being an important sacred place for the Balinese

Goa Gajah ‘Elephant Cave’ …is an archaeological site of significant historical value. Located

on the cool western edge of Bedulu Village, six kilometres out of central Ubud, you do not

need more than an hour to descend to its relic-filled courtyard and view the rock-wall

18 Nov Amed Breakfast at hotel and depart in group vehicle for a days sightseeing in and around the magnificent temple complexes of East Bali including Pura Luhur Lempuyang & Tirta Gangga. Afternoon back to hotel for free time around beach & pool. Overnight in Amed (Coral View/Hidden Paradise Amed /or Similar)

Lempuyang Temple – The Ancient Mountain Temple

Locally referred to as Pura Lempuyang Luhur, is one of Bali’s oldest and most highly

regarded temples, on par with Besakih (aka the ‘mother temple’ of Bali). Definitely a

highlight on any travel itinerary for the fit and adventurous, the main temple lies at 1,175m

above sea level, up on the peak of the namesake Mount Lempuyang in East Bali. The heights

are reachable via a steep staircase of over 1,700 steps, with attractions along the way

including several other temples and hordes of grey long-tailed monkeys that inhabit the

surrounding cool mountain forests.

The Tirta Gangga – Water Gardens

A royal water garden is a favourite retreat in the regency of Karangasem, east Bali. It was

built in 1946 during the reign of the late raja of Karangasem, (1887 - 1966). Tirta Gangga

saw a series of restorations following the destructive hot showers of volcanic ash from the

1963 Mount Agung eruption. The lavish water gardens feature 1.2ha of pools, ponds and

fountains surrounded by neatly cut lawns adorned with stepping stones, ornate statues and

tropical gardens. located in the village of Ababi, an approx. 75km east of Denpasar. The

complex is a cool retreat in the eastern highlands, perched on the south-eastern slope of

the island’s highest mountain, Mount Agung.

19 Nov - Amed – Canggu/Seminyak – Art Galleries Breakfast at hotel then check out and depart in group vehicle enroute to either Canguu or Seminyak. Enroute will be a sightseeing tour of some of Bail’s most unique Art Galleries & Museums. Overnight in Seminyak at La Villais Kamojang Seminyak / Chill House /Similar

Balinese art is art of Hindu |Javanese origin that grew from the work of artisans of

the Majapahit Kingdom, with their expansion to Bali in the late 14th century. From the 16th

until the 20th centuries the village of Kamasan, Klungkung (East Bali), was the centre of

classical Balinese art. During the first part of the twentieth century, new varieties of

Balinese art developed. Since the late 20th century, Ubud and its neighbouring villages

established a reputation as the centre of Balinese art…Lunch stop also included. Arrive at

Canggu or Seminyak approx. 3 or 4pm in time for relaxing pool time.
