Why grey literature in EASE Handbook?

Research scientists do not publish only journal articles, but also informal documents, i.e. GREY LITERATURE (GL).

Information produced on all levels of government, academia, business and industry in electronic and print formats not controlled by commercial publishing, i.e. where publishing is not the primary activity.

Given at International GL Conference (New York 2004)

GL is now available on the Internet, therefore GL authors need guidelines…
