Platipus® have over 30 years of experience in the Design,Manufacture and Supply of Percussion Driven Earth AnchoringSolutions (PDEAs) for a wide variety of market sectors. The proof ofour work, engineering skills and diligence speaks for itself in thelarge portfolio of examples and applications shown on our website.

There are steps to the installation of an anchor system:three

The S4 / S6 Percussive Driven Earth Anchors (PDEAs) are made from highly corrosion resistantgravity die cast, heat treated alloys.

Designed to be highly durable in strength both during installation and in service. The anchor isconnected to a stainless steel tendon (where applicable) to fully enhance corrosion resistanceparticularly at the soil / air interface.

The stainless steel wedge grip is designed to recess and finish flush to the structure. In manyplaces, where the structure already exists, the option to retrofit the anchors remains a quick andviable solution compared to concrete blocks and wire guys.

The addition of a galvanised eye / shoulder bolt accessory allows its use on larger structures, likewooden school buildings and offices, where concrete foundations are not possible or areinsufficient to meet the potential wind loadings.

We have a unique and well proven solution to securing both wooden and metal frame structures fortemporary and permanent shelter clusters with a choice of three simple anchoring solutions.

Available in different anchor sizes to suit hard or soft groundconditions and capable of providing up to 1000kg / 2240lbs of upliftper anchor point depending upon ground conditions.

The anchors can be installed quickly and effectively in a matter ofminutes using simple hand-held tools provided by us. With simplemodifications the standard anchor solutions can be adapted to suitalmost all shelter / housing designs.

We have four solutions for securing a variety of containers and temporary structures.

The first solution incorporates the use of a pair of anchors, webbing strap and our own tamper proofratchet tensioner.Available in two sizes of anchor and ratchet tensioner (25mm / 16m strap and 35mm /21m strap).

The second solution is designed to be connected underneath the structure, if access allows. Thissolution also incorporates our tamper proof tensioner and is available in two sizes of anchor to suiteither soft or hard ground conditions.

The third solution is also designed to be connected underneath or on the lower part of the structure. Itutilises our S6 cast iron anchor for driving in very hard conditions as well as our larger tamper prooftensioner for loads up to 2000kg / 4480lbs.

The fourth solution is designed solely for holding down ISO containers at their mounting points using ourS8 anchor.

GENERAL SECURITY - Plastic Mats, Plants & Equipment

Tent pegs and steel pins are heavy, unreliable, expensive toair freight and not always ideal for securing strategicequipment.

We have a range of small lightweight anchors: S2, S4, S6and S8 with standard tendons which can be installed andloadlocked almost instantaneously providing highperformance secure loads subject to ground conditions.

Our small S2 anchor is available in two simple configurations to tie down plastic mats and sheeting.Additionally using our S4 / S6 standard anchors in conjunction with additional wire strop or securitychain and lock as a theft deterrent.
