Introduction

Our Media Database offers you a comprehen-sive selection of high-quality images and docu-ments which you are officially permitted to use for the purposes of marketing EAO.

All media files in this database meet the corpo-rate design guidelines and are intended foruse in both internal and external communica-tion.

The Media Database is structured according to communicative criteria (corporate, markets, applications, etc.) and file-related criteria (imag-es, media, etc.).

The clear overview of the media files provided by the Media Database‘s display makes it possible to search the database intuitively and effectively. The database also provides various additional search options.

General terms of use (full version page 18)

With registration, you will set your individual password which grants you access to the entire image archive, or to sections thereof. You are not permitted to pass this password on to third parties.

EAO AG holds you as the user liable for all media accessed and ordered using your access password.

Please note that the images must be used exclusively in their original condition and only in relation to EAO.

Thanks to the «download- and collectionlinks», you can send a selection of images and doc-uments also to persons who do not have an access. They can then directly download them without having access to a cloud or an FTP server.

If you cannot find a certain image in the data-base, or if you have additional image material to add to the database, please contact us via e-mail «[email protected]». Our administrator will then get in touch with you to arrange the next steps.

We hope that this application assists you in your communications tasks.

FAQ

What is a ZIP file? When I download the requested files,

all I see is a ZIP file. Where are my files?

The ZIP file format is a compressed file format which saves on memory during archiving, and which also serves as a container file in which several sets of files or even entire directories can be compiled. For example, if you select three images from the database, you will receive a link to a single ZIP file. So you only have to download one file. Once downloaded to your hard-drive, the ZIP file can be opened by dou-ble-clicking on it, and the individual files which you have sourced from the database will be un-packed. If you select five images and two PDFs from the database, for example, these will then be turned into two ZIP files, as the images and PDFs each have a different file format. Then you use the same procedure.

What is about iStock pictures?

iStock pictures have limited licensing and must not be used for all purposes. Therefore, they are locked respectively may be ordered, with the time and user reason information, by Corporate Communications.

What does «Asset» mean?

«Assets» are contents like pictures, medias, do-cuments, etc.

Is there a possibility to send media assets to someone,

who haven‘t access to the EAO media database?

You can provide a download- or collectionlink and forward it via e-mail. The advantage is, if you add or delete something later, the link will update automatically without change.

Creating and Managing CollectionsA selection of images and documents can be compiled in a collection. You can create several collections, label them individually and send them to other people as links. OR

. Hover the mouse over the image.

. Click on the gear icon and then “Add to collection Clipboard”.
