Ms. Popwell Featured in Stuart Magazine
Ms. Popwell was featured in Stuart Magazine in March, 2015, in an article that highlighted
Principal Educators from St. Lucie County and Martin County.
Ms. Popwell is quoted: as saying, “Education is a priceless commodity that has no limits. Regard-
less of your circumstances, once it is attained, it can never be taken from you!”
Ms. Popwell was featured with 10 other area principals Thank you Ms. Popwell for representing
Centennial.

The SLW Centennial faculty and staff would like to congratulate Ms. Popwell on successfully completing
her first year as Centennial’s Principal. We appreciate your hard work, dedication, support, encourage-
ment and leadership. As a true EAGLE you soared to new heights in your new position. The students

Mrs. Holman’s Class Goes
on a Field Trip
The class went to Busch Gardens in
Tampa, FL on April 4, 2015 where they
learned all about the wildlife and vari-
ous habitats the animals live in. They
also experienced the numerous roller
coasters and practiced their social
and economic skills. When the stu-
dents returned from the trip, they
learned how to take all of their ideas,
create a bubble map, then use the
bubble map to write their first essay.
An amazing learning experience.

Kudos to Lee-Ann Willems
Ms. Willems was featured in Stuart Magazine in the April
Edition. The article focuses on her passion for permacul-
ture and her enthusiasm to spread the message about envi-
ronmental awareness. Thank you Ms. Willems for your con-
tributions to our school and students, and also for your ded-
