CONFERENCE VENUEPalais de la Méditerranée Conference Center
13 Promenade des Anglais06000 Nice - France
Dear Colleagues, Dear Friends,
Welcome to the 2021 European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery, 44th EAFPS ANNUAL MEETING in NICE – France on September 15th-18th, Palais de la Méditerranée.On behalf of the EAFPS Executive Board, it is my privilege and honour to welcome you to this biggest European Facial Plastic Surgery Meeting.
The Covid pandemic has transformed the organization of the meeting by adding a complexity that was unimaginable until recently. The organizing committee and the executive board of the EAFPS would like to express their heartfelt thanks to all the speakers, participants and all the people who made the Congress possible and contributed to the success of this world-class scientific event. The effort of everyone was considerable. The decision to maintain a face-to-face congress was questioned almost daily in view of the major risk of unpredictable cancellations until the last moment.
The faculty is composed of almost 180 world distinguished speakers, coming from 46 countries to share their experience through 67 educational masterclasses, and 54 panel discussions, representing 83 hours of scientific educational sessions. 30 CME points are awarded by the UEMS to the attendees. The scientific educational program is covering the full spectrum of facial aesthetic, cosmetic, and reconstruction procedures including the latest surgi-cal and non-surgical technologies. One room has been specifically dedicated to French sessions, where rhinoplasty and other procedures are extensively presented by experts.
Moreover, in September, Nice and the French Riviera offer a fantastic opportunity for visiting the typical middle-age villages as St Paul de Vence and its art galleries, discovering Monaco Monte Carlo, or relaxing along the Mediter-ranean Sea. Sports enthusiasts may enjoy playing golf or even trek in the surrounding mountains.
Once again, dear Friends and Colleagues a very warm welcome in Nice EAFPS 2021
On behalf of the EAFPS Executive Board,Yves Saban, MD
Meeting Chairman
