Pr Nigel concluded his 4-part sermon on Worship. The sermon was titled "Little Rocks of Worship" and he spoke about the little things that matter: 1) Remember - Psalm 22:27 God is God but we are not; 2) Listen - Jeremiah 7:2, Revelation 22:8 and follow His voice; 3) Creator - Romans 1:24-25 Sabbath & following God; 4) Come - Matthew 28:9 focus on Jesus & be present 5) Healing - Matthew 9:18, worship is healing and vice versa.

As a church this year we are supporting charity Share the Dignity's #itsinthebag Christmas campaign. Share the Dignity's aim is to bring dignity to those 85000 women and their families who are homeless, many fleeing domestic violence.
To be involved in helping an at risk woman to feel a little bit special this Christmas simply choose a handbag in good condition that you no longer use (alternatively but an inexpensive handbag). Then, fill it with some essential , self-care items as well as items that would make a woman feel special, pop in a thoughtful note or Christmas card and show her someone cares. There are three types of bags you could fill with suggested items are as follows:
Teen bag:Sanitary items for teen girlsShampoo/conditionerToothbrush/toothpasteSoapRoll-on deodorantFace washerHairbrush/hair accessoriesCouple of luxury items eg. sunglasses, jewellery etc. Woman's bag:Sanitary itemsShampoo/conditionerToothbrush/toothpasteSoapRoll-on deodorantFace washerHairbrush/hair accessoriesCouple of luxury items eg. book, handcream etc.

To make this event a reality we need lots of assistance from church members.On, Saturday afternoon, November 16 from 2:45 PM to 5 PM, at Parramatta Seventh-day Adventist Church we are having a meeting open to all church members to promote this program. We need your help to invite your church members to attend this afternoon presentation.Looking forward to seeing you at Parramatta Seventh-day Adventist Church 77-81 Hammers Road, Northmead at 2:45 PM on November 16.
Registration for all Camps fills up really fast—literally within minutes! If you are seriously thinking of sending your children to one of our Camps next year, then make sure you are on your computer at 7PM (right on the dot) ready to register them.
Here is a quick Summary of the Camps:
Juniors campFor those aged 10-12 years oldCamp dates: 10 – 15 January, 2020Cost: $385 per person
Young Leaders campFor those aged 16-18 years oldCamp dates: 16-20 January, 2020Cost: $320The camp will have a leadership focus, equipping and inspiring Young Leaders to excel in their schools and in life. This camp will still be packed with activities, including water-skiing.
Teen campFor those aged 13-15 years oldCamp dates: 21-26 January, 2020Cost: $385 per person
