E-SMART SOLAR

COMPANY PROFILE

PAGE 2

Solar energy doesn’t need to be complex or overwhelming.

You just need to know the facts.

provide you with the very best products and customer care,

but to also make life easy for you.

WE BELIEVE THAT THE SIMPLE THINGS

IN LIFE ARE OFTEN THE BEST

At E-Smart, we’re all about making solar simple.

To us, it’s more than just using the sun to generate power. And it goes far

deeper than reducing your electricity bill and environmental impact.

For us, it’s about ensuring that you receive ongoing value for money, have

confidence in your equipment, and enjoy exceptional service before, during

and after your installation.

PROVIDING VALUE FOR MONEY

Delivering the very best products for

your needs at the very best price we

SOURCING AND SUPPLYING QUALITY

PRODUCTS

Quality underpins everything we do.

If we can’t put our name behind the

product, we won’t use it.

PUTTING YOUR NEEDS FIRST

From your first enquiry through to

installation and follow-up service,

you’ll enjoy easy and ecient

service - we promise.

It’s your home or business, and your investment. We’re here to help you make the most of it.

WHY, HELLO SUNSHINE

At E-Smart, we’re committed to a brighter future. A renewable future.

To do this, we believe in three fundamentals.

1. Renewable energy equipment must be aordable.

2. Renewable energy equipment must be high quality.

3. And renewable energy must be easily accessible to those who need it, such as homeowners, businesses, schools,

community groups and government.

These beliefs are central to our business philosophy. At E-Smart, we focus on:

“E-Smart epitomise what good service is all about! It makes a welcome change to come across a

company that knows what it takes to keep customers coming back.

Thanks Dean for a job well done, on time, and without breaking the bank.”

- Brynn Town, Winmalee

IT’S A PLEASURE TO MEET YOU

Founded by Director Dean Edmonds in 2007, E-Smart Solar initially traded as E-Smart Electrical Services, oering solar and

energy-saving solutions alongside traditional electrical work.

With consumer interest in government rebates and incentives, along with increasing demand for his solar knowledge and skills,

solar installations became the main focus of the business. In 2011, a conscious decision was made to focus purely on solar

solutions for E-Smart customers via a restructure to E-Smart Solar Pty Ltd.

With E-Smart Solar, the combination of both electrical and solar skills enables us to deliver custom solar work as well as the

specialised Level 2 metering work that installations require, all in one simple, streamlined process.

One phone call, one appointment, one invoice, and one less thing for you to worry about.

Marnie Tomczyk

Designer by trade, solar advocate for life

A self-confessed devotee and fan of renewable energy, Marnie

is a former graphic designer who specialised in branding and

corporate communications – with a Sydney Design Award

under her belt, she knows how to create a great brand.

She also knows what it takes to build a customer-focused

business from the ground up, and the importance that culture,

passion, ethics and commitment bring to an organisation.

Under Marnie’s guidance, E-Smart have it in spades.

With a strong community focus and a commitment to

furthering sustainability in the local area, Marnie is also a Board

Member of the Blue Mountains Renew, a community co-

operative working to create community-owned renewable

energy projects in the World-Heritage listed Blue Mountains.

From administration and finance through to marketing, WHS

and project management, Marnie wears multiple hats (and

wears them well!). You’ll generally find her with a coee in one

hand and a pen and notebook in the other, with Ben Harper

playing in the background.

• Bachelor of Arts (Sydney University)

• Diploma of Graphic Design and Communication (Nepean

Arts & Design Centre)

Dean Edmonds

Electrician by trade, solar installer by passion

Dean spent seven years in the electrical trade before taking

the plunge into solar technology. An electrician by trade,

Dean became fascinated with solar energy over six years ago

and moved into a management position with a large solar

company. For two years he travelled internationally, liaising

directly with PV manufacturers and engaging with solar

technology at production level.

Wanting to focus on customer care and with a thorough

understanding of the solar process, combined with his strong

electrical trade background, Dean developed his own company,

E-Smart Electrical. E-Smart was the perfect vehicle to combine

his electrical qualifications and skills with his renewable energy

knowledge, as well as his passion for solar as a viable, long-

term energy option.

Following a rebrand to E-Smart Solar in 2014 to accurately

reflect the focus on solar as a speciality, Dean has guided

the business to oer comprehensive solar power options to

homeowners and businesses, and is one of the region’s most

highly-regarded installers. His industry commitment was

recognised in the Blue Mountains Business Young Entrepreneur

of the Year awards where he was a finalist.

He is well-known for his quality focus and client commitment,

Triple J addiction, and undying love for the Canterbury

Bankstown Bulldogs (don’t judge him).

“Dean from E-Smart Solar was the first to respond to

my enquiry. We have a complex stand-alone system

with a big battery bank. E-Smart Solar eectively

doubled our panel wattage and integrated the

new installation seamlessly into our setup. Some

installers I talked to were intimidated by our

complex rig, but Dean knew exactly what was

needed and supplied us with premium components

at a very reasonable price, backed up by professional

and prompt workmanship.

Thanks guys.”
