Kursus Perguruan Lepasan Ijazah (KPLI) is a nine months
training programme for post graduate and Praticum is a
14 weeks “internship” in school.

A lecturer/supervisor will make 6 visit:
1 pre-visit, 2 for major, 2 minor & Final-visit

Research Methodology
This research is descriptive and analytical in nature and
has hence adopted both quantitative and qualitative
method.

both quantitative and qualitative data were collected

The purpose of the study is to determine the suitability
of the design in “myKent Praktikum” in supporting the
practicum session of the institute based on the students’

took part in this research.

The system database(myKentPraktikum) shown that there are 11531
actions recorded for the period of implementation.

Students have uploaded 2337 (59.92 perperson) Lesson Plan,
resubmitted 1864 (47.79 perperson) Lesson Plan (after commented by
lecturer/supervisor).
This is a very high ratio compare to TWO face to face visit (without
support by system) by the lecturer/supervisor.

users where interactive between students and
lecturer/supervisor are more frequent and instant.

Students agreed that myKentPrak is efficient, user friendly
and can provide feedback to them to improve their lesson
plans.

Concluding Remarks
With the advanced in technology, using system to monitor
and support students’ practicum can create a lot of impact
to the students, especially for the pre-service teacher
training.
