Principal’s Message
The institution continued with its success streak with the highest number of students securing the
feat. 12 students (Class XII) performed exceptionally well in Joint Entrance Exam (JEE Advance),
2019 and qualified the examination. The toppers are - Nilay Kala, Shah Chinmay Jitendra, Kriti
Chaturvedi, Kashish Jain, and Avi Agrawal.

6 Students participated in the United Amateur Muay Thai- National Youth Championship held at
Guwahati, Assam from May 24, 2019 to May 28, 2019 and brought laurels to the School under the
mentorship of Mr. Gaurav Sanotia.
GOLD MEDALS were bagged by Anshika Panwar and Apoorwa Dubey. (Class IV & V
respectively)
SILVER MEDALS were grabbed by Daksh Mishra, Rakshan Dinshow and Kushal Agrawal. (Class IV,
VI & IX respectively.)
BRONZE MEDAL was won by Aarush Agarwal. (Class VII)
Under the guidance of Mr. Kamal Dabi, Mranali Dhakad (Class XII) participated in the Indore Kurash District Competition on May 6, 2019 and stole the limelight on the final day and won a GOLD MEDAL.
Kunal Patel, (Class X) participated in the Indore Kurash District Competition on May 6, 2019 with full enthusiasm and won a GOLD MEDAL.
Mranali Dhakad, (Class XII) proved the power of her punches and stood Third in Junior Kurash Asian Championship Trial held in Bhopal at TT Nagar Stadium during the month of April 2019.

Swimming Competition
Somil Patel and Vineet Shah (Class XII)
participated in five days State level Swimming
Competition organized at Hoshangabad under
the mentorship of Ms. Harvinder Rathod and Mr.
Vikram Verma.
Somil Patel and Vineet Shah (Class XII) displayed
their prowess at District Level Swimming
Competition held at Arihant College on May 20,
2019 under the mentorship of Ms. Harvinder
Rathod and Mr. Vikram Verma. Vineet Shah
confirmed his dominance in Free Style in 100
and 200 mts and won TWO GOLD MEDALS. Somil
Patel clinched his victory in the tournament and
bagged a SILVER MEDAL in 200 IM and a
BRONZE MEDAL in 100 mts Butterfly.

It is a proud moment for Indore Public School that
our Student of Class XI, Karan Dixit got an
opportunity to represent India in ASIAN FOOTBALL
FEDERATION OF INDIA. 9 players from three countries
– BHUTAN, NEPAL AND INDIA participated at
Pokhara, Nepal from JUNE 13 to 15, 2019. On nd
securing the 2 position Karan was acknowledged
with a Certificate and a SILVER MEDAL. Due to his
outstanding gaming skills he got selected for
KINSCUP, Thailand in U-19 BOYS FORWARD.

Subroto Cup Football Tournament – 2019
indore public school partnered to host the Subroto Cup Foot ball tournament from 28/6/ 19 to 1/7/19 at Indore Public School Football Ground. At the inaugural ceremony, Ramesh Jhirwar District Sports Officer of Subroto Football Tournament & Head of the Institution Ms. Sudha Pandey, welcomed the teams and coordinators from various schools and officially declared the Tournament open.It witnessed 5 days full of intense Football matches, which concluded on Monday. A total of 32 School teams of girls and boys Under 14 and Under 17 category from across Indore participated in the tournament.This year’s tournament witnessed a very high quality of football performances and hat rick goal struck by Mast. Divyash Sarvan in Under 14- Boys.

Indore Public School wins the Cluster Under-17 Boys Football Championship
Our zealous Football team clinched the Cluster under - 17 Boys’ Subroto Cup Football Tournament – 2019. In the finals played at IPS Football Ground on July 1, 2019, the host team trounced –Advance Academy Team with an unassailable lead of 2 - 1, thanks to the consecutive goals struck each by Mast. Sandeep Jat. The winning team was trained by Mr. Sachin Pardesi. The achievement becomes significant as IPS is the only team to achieve this feat in a competition that witnessed the participation of the schools across the district. With this facile win, IPS has qualified for the District Football Championship to be held on July 3 & 4.

Summer Camp- 2019: Opening ceremony
The 28th summer camp was inaugurated on May 6, 2019 with an aim to engage young minds
during the vacations and sharpen their hidden talents. The inaugural ceremony began with
lighting of lamp by Head of the Institution Ms. Sudha Pandey along with the chief guest
Legendary Cricketer Mr. Debashish Nilose. The activities and curriculum of the summer camp
was designed for age group of 6 to 17 years, to bring about a qualitative difference among the
participants. It included Karate, Basketball, Gymnastics, Cricket, Lawn Tennis, Skating, Chess,
Swimming, Football, Table tennis, Horse Riding, Rifle Shooting, Instrumental music, Western
dance, Art & Craft, Personal Grooming and Spoken English. President Ar. Achal k. Choudhary
also extended his best wishes and quoted "If you cannot do great things, do small things in a
great way.".
‘Where strangers become friends and friendship lasts forever!'
Summer Camp- 2019: Valedictory function
Indore Public School celebrated its Summer Camp
Closing ceremony on May 28 2019, after running an
exciting summer camp from May 5, 2019.
Mr. Yash Mehta - the proud father of Aarnav Mehta, one
of the boarders in Summer Camp and the STAR of the
Camp (award winner) along with Management
members graced the occasion.
The guests were thrilled to witness the field
demonstrations and the amazing art work delighted
them as it reflected enhanced skills of the artists of our
camp. The Cultural Program began by lighting of the
lamp. Students presented melodious songs, dances
and played musical instruments for their special Guests.
More than 300 students from across MP got benefitted
from this summer camp getting training in the activities
of their choice. Medals, Trophies and Certificates were
awarded to the best performers and winners of various
competitions conducted during Summer Camp.
Mentors were also felicitated for their support and co-
operation, on this auspicious occasion.
The Chief Guest congratulated all the prize winners. In his
address, President IPS group of Instituions Ar. Achal
Choudhary congratulated the winners for their
achievements in different activities and cited “The
Herculean task of nurturing and nourishing the young
minds is with the schools and with the recent paradigm
shift in Education, this responsibility has increased
manifold. IPS thrives to accomplish this goal by
presenting forth more such opportunities. ” Head of the
Institution Ms. Sudha Pandey, in her a motivational
address quoted “IPS has continued the tradition to
make such endeavors in its ceaseless strife for
excellence and be the torch bearer in furthering the
cause of Holistic Education”. After the fun and
merriment throughout the camp, all the students left
with smiles and cheers on the culmination of the camp.
I went to Camp expecting to make new friends but I ended up being
a part of the IPS family!' - Arnav Mehta (a boarder of Camp.)
IPS conducted a Language Lab workshop on 12th June, 2019, specially for the language teachers.
It was conducted by Ms. Jaqulin from Educom English Language Ltd. In which 17 teachers
participated. The workshop commenced by discussion on the 'Impact of English Language', the
problems faced in inculcating good English language skills which can be solved by introducing
listening and speaking skills in addition to reading and writing. On the whole, the workshop was very
informative and beneficial for the teachers.
AFS Indore Chapter Meeting was held on June 26, 2019 at Medi-Caps International School. 35
Teachers from top schools of Indore participated in the meeting. Agenda was to plan for the
activities to be conducted in the session 2019-20.Indore Chapter aims to achieve Global
Citizenship through community services , workshops and other fruitful event's.
AFS ICL Teachers Training Workshop was successfully conducted on June 13, 2019 by Ms Sarita
Badhwar from AFS, (An international organization that promotes intercultural understanding). 30
teachers attended the Workshop and were equipped with the ability to impart socio-emotional
skills to the learners and enable them to become global citizens. Head of the Institution Ms. Sudha
Pandey appreciated the provoking workshop and encouraged the teachers to become more
effective.
EMPOWERING THE MENTORS
School sprang back to life on June 24, 2019 after a long
summer break to resume the journey of education. Armed
with new bags, clad in new uniform and spirits up the excited
the students gathered in the senior block quadrangle. A
special welcoming environment awaited for the students
which included dance, song and orchestra. Head of the
Institution Ms. Sudha Pandey, in her pearls of wisdom, guided
the students to work diligently and persistently throughout the
educational session.
Our passionate educators welcomed the blossoming flowers
of our pre-primary wing on June 24, 2019. The tiny toddlers
interacted with their teachers informally and had lots of
pleasurable moments with dance and music. Students also
enjoyed the activity of jungle gym and riding on the horse.
Lots of candies, smiley balloons and first day gifts and
decorated classrooms were relished by them.

OF PRE-PRIMARY ON REOPENING DAY- 24th JUNE’19
With an objective to provide proper guidance to students, who are on the verge of entering
Class XI, a counselling session was organized on June 19, 2019. The session aimed at giving proper
direction to the emerging career avenues and choosing optional subjects respectively. They
also collected their Class X Mark sheet, Co-scholastic Report Card, Migration Certificate and
Psychometric Test Results.

In step with millions of people in India and
across the globe, around 200 enthusiastic
teachers, parents and students participated
with great zeal in Yoga Session organized to
celebrate The International Yoga Day.
Participants learnt and practised yoga asanas
under the guidance of renowned yoga guru
Dr. Bandre. Mass Yoga Demonstration began
at 0900 hrs which included asanas like
Yogasana, Pranayama, Dhyan etc. At the
culmination, participants pledged to imbibe
yoga for long and healthy life. School left no
stone unturned to spread the wave of yoga.

International Yoga Day - 21st June’19
The Sarthak Group of Indore invited Patna's
Anand Kumar of 'Super 30' fame to the city to
deliver lecture on June 29, 2019. President of IPS
group of Institutions Mr. Achal Choudhary,
Head of the Institution Ms. Sudha Pandey along
with 500 Students from all campuses of Indore
Public School attended the seminar for the
promotion of his Biopic ‘Super 30’. Actor, Hrithik
Roshan and Nandish Singh Sandhu are all set to
enthrall to audience where they play the role of
Anand Kumar and his brother respectively.
As a friend, philosopher, guide and teacher,
Anand Kumar has touched and changed
many lives and made dreams of bright young
students come true. Through his innovative and
unique educational initiative, Super 30, he
coaches aspirants for the Indian Institutes of
Technology Joint Entrance Exam (IIT-JEE). He
counseled, interacted and motivated the
students by saying that they should never be
afraid of difficulties in their life and should work
hard to fulfill their dreams.
