2. The Exclusive TNAU AGRITECH Outreach Portal to act as Hub center is being developed with well-structured facilities
3. Location Specific and need based contents are being generated and loaded in the TNAU AGRITECH Portal
4. TNAU AGRITECH Portal will give content to Agriculture Department Hub centres and Other Line Departments

What is an Expert System?
An Expert System (ES), also called a Knowledge Based System (KBS), is a computer program designed to simulate the problem-solving behavior of an expert in a narrow do main or discipline.
EXPERT SYSTEM=KNOWLEDGE BASE + EXPERT SYSTEM SHELL (Control &Inference +User Interface).
Expert System in Agriculture
Paddy, Sugarcane, Coconut, Ragi and Precision Farming in Banana
Expert System in Animal Husbandry
Pest Diseases in Goat, Cows, Poultry and Sheep
Knowledge Base is being developed for the above components and Expert System template is also being initiated.
Will be developed in Tamil, Kanada and Malayalam languages

vi. Community Radio Station
Community Radio Station has been sanctioned to TNAU by the Ministry of Inforamtion & Broadcasting and World Media Foundation with objective to share the local agriculture information among local people through local language. It will cover 15 KM radius from TNAU hub centre.
Nearly 300 hrs need based programme has been produced through people participation and scientists involvement
Planning to use this station for agri-education, research highlights sharing and extension activities and many more purposes…..
