11.0 Network operationIt is imperative to consult the responsible systemadministrator for all work in a network!

The user is responsib le for the data backup. ATMOSis not liable for any data loss!

It is described how the in stallation and settings (notthe data!) is protected in a network.

Besides the single workstation the ATMOS DiagnosticCube can also be con gurated for use in a network.By installing the diagnostic software on variousworkstations it is possible to retrieve the examinationson different PC‘s.

Naturally the control of the ATMOS Diagnostic Cube)is only possible from t he PC when it is connected viaa USB 2.0.

The following steps are necessary in order to access thediagnostic data via a network.

The listed network paths to the le server of the ATMOS) Diagnostic Cube in t he network „ ...\AGHData\ „ are onlyexamples and could d epending on the local sit uationbe named differently.

For an easy communication i n a support case it would)be an advantage if the here mentioned structures andnames for the folders and les of the ATMOS Dia -gnos tic Cube Install ation are adopt ed. \AGHData\ andthe following.

Create a partition / a directory with the le ...\AGHData\ in theynetwork with full access rights for all users / workstation, alsothose which are only used for the visualization of the exami-

nations results (e.g. \\Server\AGHData). Adjustment of the new path for the measurement database andythe patient database of the module programs in the respectivecon guration menus. How to obtain the respective con guration menu is describedyin the single user installation.

The following adaptions must be performed on each)workstation.

11.1 Adaption of the patient database forthe network operation

Copy the contents of the folder C:\AGHData\Data in the partitiony

just created / of the network directory just created (in example\\Server\AGHData\Data).In the con guration menu of the patient management undery„System“ enter this path, under which the database can befound in the network server. (e.g.: \\Server\AGHData\ Data)

11.2 Adaption of the respective modulesoftware Sono 31, Rhino 31, Tymp 31for the network operation

Besides the patient database in each case the path to the locationfor the measuring values database in the network must be enteredinto the con guration menu of the respective module software.

Con guration menu „System“ of the module program Sono 31

11.0 Network operationThe measuring values database should also be copied into thedirectory in the network when the directory C:\AGHDiag\Data iscopied.

For each module software the database path must be)adapted separately

For each module software open the tab „System“ in the respec-y

tive con gurations menu.Enter in the eld „database - directory“ the new path to the da -ytabases location in the network (e.g.\\Server\AGHData\Data)Pay attention to correct spelling and capital and lower-caseyletters.

The elds „Export“ and „Import“ must remain empty)during a network installation. These are exclusivelyused for communication wi th a connection to a prac-tice soft ware.

Con guration menu „System“ of the module program Tymp 31

11.3 Backup leCreate a folder for the ATMOS Diagnostic Cube in the networkyfolder with the name „Mirror“ (e.g.:\\Server\ AGHData\Mirror\) asa backup directory for the complete installation of the ATMOSDiagnostic Cube.Copy the complete local installation les C:\ AGHDiag intoythe newly created backup le in the network (e.g.: \\Server\

    AGHData\Mirror\).

In doing so all the adjustments and installation data can be saved. In the case of a new installation it can eventually be copied backinto the respective directory. This way the original con guration

can be re-established.There is no permanent backup of the patient and exa- ) mination values. The user is responsibl e for organizingthis by himself!

After a complete installation (including a connection to a practicesoftware, see following chapter) the directory structure (see g,left) should be installed in the network:

Transfer directory for integrationinto practice software (optional)

Path on the server (Example: \\Server\D:\WS1\
