WooCommerce is the most popular and arguably the best e-commerce plug-in for WordPress. It simplifies the creation and management of an online store, with reasonable levels of flexibility and several essential functions such as inventory, secure payments and shipping integration.

In this programme, participants will learn the different e-commerce platforms available for a Singapore-based company. In addition, marketing options and charging models of major third party e-commerce building platforms such as Shopify and WooCommerce will be introduced.

Expanding on the WordPress module, participants will learn to integrate WooCommerce to their WordPress site. Various essential plug-ins for WooCommerce and best practices for e-commerce optimisation will be introduced to jumpstart your online business. Participants will also learn to apply different digital marketing tools to drive awareness and sales.

Song Lili holds a Degree of Master of Science in Innovation. She is currently a Project Director and Digital Marketer working in Mediafreaks Group, an award-winning digital media company focusing on digital marketing, e-commerce and animation products and services. She had managed and executed digital marketing campaigns for more than 15 brands and now spends about 20% of her time teaching.

She was the program lead for Ideasinc, a nationwide entrepreneurship competition by Nanyang She was the program lead for Ideasinc, a nationwide entrepreneurship competition by Nanyang Technopreneurship Centre, NTU. Helping young Singaporean entrepreneurs kick-start their businesses by providing mentorship, start-up curriculums, industry networks and funding opportunities. She is also certified in Google Adwords, Google Analytics, Google Video Advertising and Facebook Blueprint.
