He currently broadcasts NFL and college basketball games on CBS and does play-by-play for the NBA on TNT. Until 2008, Kevin was the voice of Westwood One Radio's Final Four coverage, which is heard on hundreds of radio stations nationwide. In 2009, he began serving as a secondary announcer for Westwood One's Monday Night Football Page 1 of 5 Rotary Club 13 E-Buzzsaw 5/13/2011 file://\\assistant\Rotary13Data\Janet\EBuzzSaw\May192011.html

President Ford Nelson opened the meeting, thanked the greeters and asked Jerry Munson to lead the singing while Carl Bolte accompanied in a timely rendition of "God Bless America". Don Giffin gave the invocation and Tom Martin welcomed our guests plus a visiting Rotarian from the Eastern Clay County/Liberty club. It was truly great to see Karl Roscoe here and looking good. Now to get Don Patterson out of ICU and into recovery at Research Hospital, and hear news of good recoveries from Tom Davidson and Lindsay Ripley!

Ford leaked the news that Judge Duane Benton has the fate of the NFL in his hands... No pressure there. Gene Freeman pitched the Entertainment Committee's May 19th showing of "Gypsy" with dining at Streetcar Named Desire before the performance. Then Rick Halterman brought our newest Colonel member to the podium for a fine introduction and welcome back to KC. Howard Mick and the Education Excellence Committee took over - presenting a full program featuring eight outstanding students and one faculty "stand-in" from high schools across the city. Their honors and awards were richly deserved. Congratulations! Howard returned to the podium to introduce our speaker, Airick West the President of the KC School Board who did a superb job standing in when Dr. Covington was forced to miss due to family illness. Airick delivered a refreshing talk on changes in public education. He conveyed a sense that KC schools have emerged over the past two years to take the high road to excellence in education.
