protect your investment
From critical process flow to harsh down-hole envi-
ronments, 3M™ Dyneon™ fluoropolymers have earned
a reputation for performing where other materi-
als fail. Processors, equipment designers and com-
ponent suppliers choose Dyneon fluoropolymers for
their technical features consistency, quality and pro-
cessability.
Dyneon fluoropolymers help to prolong your equip-
ment life-cycles. These materials are capable of
withstanding corrosive chemicals, temperature ex-
tremes (-200 °C to 260 °C), aging, and physical wear
and tear.
Universal base, acid, hydrocarbon, alcohol, and steam
resistance make Dyneon fluoropolymers the materi-
als of choice for contact with chemicals in a range
of industries – oil & gas, chemical, pulp & paper, pe-
trochemical, food, pharmaceutical, biotechnology and
semiconductor. Dyneon offers a broad product range
of fluoropolymers, allowing experts to help select the
right material for their application requirements. Dy-
neon, a 3M company, combines the resources of a
global leader with 40 years of fluoropolymer specia-
lization and innovation.

3M™ Dyneon™ Fluoroelastomers
Dipolymers (66-68 % Fluorine)(a polymer of hexafluoropropylene and vinylidene fluoride)
Fluoroelastomers (bisphenol or peroxide cure) for sealing applications that require ex-
cellent resistance to heat and aggressive chemicals
Terpolymers (68-71 % Fluorine)(a polymer of tetrafluoroethylene, hexafluoropropylene and vinylidene fluoride)
Fluoroelastomers (bisphenol or peroxide cure) for applications requiring added resis-
tance (versus dipolymers) to hydrocarbons, acids, polar solvents, caustics and steam
Perfluoroelastomers and compounds(a polymer containing tetrafluoroethylene and perfluoroalkoxyvinylether)
Provides the highest possible safety in production processes due to its extraordinary
thermal and chemical resistance
Low Temperature Fluoroelastomers(a polymer containing tetrafluoroethylene, vinylidene fluoride and a perfluoroalkoxy-
alkylvinylether)
The latest generation of low temperature fluoroelastomers provide true low tempera-
ture sealing capability while maintaining the heat and chemical resistance of fluoro-
elastomers
