Course Objectives:Generally, the course aims to develop
among the Benildean students a
greater appreciation of and firmer faithin the church by unfolding to them thestory and dynamics of religion. Such
appreciation and faith are expected tobe lived out by them through their
active participation in the realization of the church mission entrusted to her byJesus Christ.

Specifically, this course hopes that at the end of
the term, the students will be able to:1. Trace the historico-biblical bases of the growth of the
Church vis--vis ones personal life story.2. Write a spiritual journal and that will show the meaning
and the importance of the Sacraments in their life.3. Join the different Catholic Churchs/Lasalian apostolic
works.4. Participate in the Liturgical celebrations and reception
of the sacraments to strengthen religious conviction.5. Apply important religious teachings learned in the
course by coming up with reflection papers.
