    DYNAMICS OF ATTRACTION

Well, the topic may sound a bit heavy scholar stuff, but let me assure, its

nothing to do with the literal meaning of dynamics i.e analysis of force on a

moving body. Rather its about a little encounter which the hero of our story

had. An encounter. far from his home, far from his friends, but an

    encounter which he would remember.

Adolescence, they say is an age of immense emotional upswings. Attractions

to the opposite sex, is heightened. There is a natural tendency to dress up in

a manner appealing to the opposite sex, trying to get involved in

    conversations with them read flirting!!!!

But sadly our hero was not that stud type of guy. His dressing sense was not

what you call killer. He liked and preferred sober formals rather thanflashy casuals. His hairstyle was plain. Simply done hair. Had a heavy spec

of -7 power. He was slightly overweight not obese, but what we can call

bulky. Due to exercise his shoulders were broad. He was tall, but neither

dark nor handsome..!!!! he was a scholar or at least thats what others

thought about him. A well behaved guy or at least thats what he thought

about himself..!! he was not involved in any of the dude activities like

smoking drinking, flirting etc. at this point you may be wondering, that why

I made such a guy the hero of my story well its my story and my wish

Theres more actually.. although he could speak any length of time on

complex topics of his branch MECHANICAL ENGINEERING, ask him to

talk to a stranger girl hell develop COLD FEET, DRY THROAT,

    WANDERING EYEBALL, SWEATING FOREHEAD SYNDROME

He was shy. And terribly shy at that.

So much for the hero. Well, as I mentioned he was good at studies, so he

got a call from IIT ROORKEE for M.Tech. he reached one day before his

scheduled interview and took up accommodation in the college. He was

experiencing college hostel life for the first time. It felt nice. He had dinner

and went out for a walk in the college campus.Night was good. Cool breeze was blowing. Many people were out. Some

young student couples were also there. Walking close to each other, giggling

on god knows what and looking very happy.

Now, our hero, throughout his life believed that love is something which

was absolutely divine and pure. And one can experience it only once in a

lifetime. He didnt believed that love can exist in the adolescent stages of

life, its merely an attraction. This belief of his and his shyness, despite being

well known in college, our hero was single, I mean without girlfriend. And

    he had no regrets.

The couple on the street will be separated when their course ends at the

institute. They will all follow different trajectories of their life and career,

even our hero will follow his own, but that first night of solitude, the

weather in the night, the chemistry which the couples shared, the gleam in

their eyes, it made our hero feel that he is missing out on something. A thing

not absolutely necessary like oxygen, but a desirable thing like a breath of

fresh air. A bit depressed he returned to his room and went to sleep. He had

understood the first principle of dynamics of attraction.

SOLITUDE MAKES PEOPLE SEEEK EMOTIONAL SUPPORT AND

MAY RESULT IN FRIENDSHIP, SOON TO BE DEVELOPED IN

    CRUSH, ULTIMATELY LOVE.

Next day was his interview. His was quite early in number and went nice.

He was waiting for his friends turn to come. In the waiting room, two

vacant rows ahead were sitting to girls. Both dressed in formals, white suit,

but one with a green dupatta, and the other with with a blackish brownish

dupatta. Though the description of the dressing sense is a bit shabby, but

they were dressed impeccably. The one with the green dupatta went to face

her interview. The one with the black dupatta was talking on phone. Our

hero was chilling with his friend, 2 rows back. The girl was talking to

someone very animatedly but very sweetly. Her hair which was made up in a

way which I cant describe cause I dont know the terms, but it was tied a the

top and let loose at the bottom sort of thing, with the movement of her head

her hair was also moving which our hero found as cute as wagging tail of

dog. Now any girl will reply with a sandal to such a compliment, but thats

the problem with our hero, he relates things which attract him to the things

which he loves. For eg. Eyes big and beautiful like a cows eyes.

Hair nice and voluminous like a german shepherds tail!!Forehead smooth and curved like the windshield of a car.

At times I feel its good that our hero is not involved in any relationship, otherwise he wouldve got multiple break ups and multiple bandages on his

    face from sandal wounds

Anyways, lets come back to the story. Our hero found her moving hair cut.

She finished talking, put the cell in her bag, got up, turned backwards,

walked upto our hero and said , hi.

Our hero was stunned. COLD FEET, DRY THROAT, WANDERING

EYEBALL, SWEATING FOREHEAD but he managed himself with

effort and said.. hi in a parched throat. She started asking about the

department for which she was giving interview. That department was not her

core, but our hero had studied that. He somehow managed to reply and even

asked her to take a seatwhich considering his past records was a huge

    achievement.! She talked at length.

There are some girls who dress up loudly, behave like ultra modern, in an

accented tone, wear heavy make ups. Our hero didnt like such girls. Rather

he considered them immature and childish.

But he did liked something in a girl. Like decently dressed (check..!),

speaking normally (check..!),.. real not fake confidence (check..!), not show

off of attitude (check..!) and well kept long hairs (double check..!!). her

name was. Well wont tell it. She had everything which our hero liked, does that means our hero has fallen in love or crush on her.

Second law of dynamics of attraction,

LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT IS A MYTH. LOVE IS NOT

INSTANTANEOUS BUT ATTARCTION IS. AND IF YOU FIND YOUR

IDEAL GUY OR GIRL, ATTRACTION IS BOUND TO HAPPEN

Her way of talking, her voice, her eyes were exactly what our hero imagined

his girl to have. She went for her interview. Our hero was waiting outside

with his friend, whose turn was yet to come. She came out and said

interview was ok. Took her bags and went out. Her hair was again moving

like a dog wagging his tail.

That night our hero again went for a walk. He saw the girl with green

dupatta walking with a guy, giggling on god knows what. Our hero once

thought of asking her about the other girl who talked so much before the

interview and so little after the interview. But his shyness was too much to

overcome. He just took a second look at the couple. They were walking in

tandem, the breeze blowing the hair of the girl, she was trying to arrange it,but with little success.

Our hero turned and continued his walk with a smile. He learnt the third law

    of dynamics of attraction,

UNLIKWE NEWTONS 3RD LAW, EVERY ATTRACTION MAY NOT

RESULT IN AN EQUAL AND OPPOSITE ATTRACTION. SOMETIMES

YOU JUST TAKE THEM AS BEAUTIFUL MEMORIES AND MOVE

    ON.

Our hero continued his walk on the stretch. The wind was ruffling his hairs

too. He saw a street dog and owing to his habit, patted the dog on its head. It

wagged his tail. He was whitish with black spots , almost like the dress of

the girl. Our hero smiled and moved on, walking in to the cool night breeze

    of roorkee.
