DYNAMED QUICK START GUIDE
NES Knowledge Services is pleased to confirm access to Dynamed as the primary point of care resource within The Knowledge Network – available from the Point of Care area at http://www.knowledge.scot.nhs.uk/home/point-of-care.aspx DynaMed provides summaries of evidence on approximately 4,000 clinical topics and includes links to many full-text international guidelines (including NICE and SIGN), Cochrane systematic reviews, research and review articles, PubMed abstracts and patient information. The DynaMed database is updated daily. For detailed information about DynaMed’s evidence-based methodologies go to http://www.ebscohost.com/dynamed/content.php or click the 7-Step Evidence-based Methodology link on the DynaMed start page.
Using the Search Box As you type your words into the search box, you will see topic suggestions. Move your mouse over a topic to highlight it and click to load it into the search box - the search should start automatically; if it doesn’t, click Search.

CME - Continuing Education
Click Get CME for this Topic in the left-hand menu to open DynaMed’s CME Form in a new window. Complete and submit the form to receive an e-mail confirmation that you have used DynaMed for your education and professional development. It could come in handy for your portfolio.
DynaMed on your Mobile
