Re: Valet Request 605 Douglas Avenue – Escape Bar and Grill

Dear Chairman Conley:

Upon review of the Valet license request of Escape Bar and Grill, which is to be located at 605

Douglas Avenue in Providence, this office has a number of comments and questions regarding

the application:

1. Who is the valet company that will be parking the vehicles? How many employees will

be working during the time when cars are being valeted?

2. Where will the vehicles be parked and how many cars does the lot accommodate?

3. Is the parking facility owned or leased/rented by the applicant? If rented/leased, a copy

of the rental/lease agreement must be provided.

4. What is the seating capacity of the restaurant?

5. What are the hours of operation for the proposed valet?

6. If a valet parking space were to be granted, it would have to be located on Corina Street,

as there is a fire hydrant in front of the building on Douglas Avenue.

Once these questions have been addressed, this office will be able to provide a decision on

whether a valet license should be granted.
