Ernesto will leave on 15th May 2016, so arrange to cover his work by Estiaque or Sarfraj since before that time the 

testing of rocks is already completed. Casting of pre‐cast units might be completed on 20th May 2016. 

Immediately inform Mr. Noe for quality issues or anything that can affect your work.

Dear Sir, 

Please be informed  that I will have my vacation on 7th  until 28th of May 2016. During my leave, Mr. Roshan will act as 

Lead QC Inspector and a focal person for QC in pre‐cast yard at DWF. Below mentioned the duties and responsibilities of 

QC & ACES Personnel in pre‐cast yard at DWF. 

1. Roshan Khan – Lead Civil Inspector 

a. Inspection of Core‐locs, QW Blocks & other Pre‐cast Units 

‐ Post concrete repair inspection 

‐ Concrete repair inspection 

‐ Weighing of Core‐loc units (at least twice a week) 

‐ Close‐out part 3a of NRIs for casted units with complete attachment 

b. Updating the Registers for: 

‐ Cracks of Core‐locs 

‐ Weight of Core‐locs 

c. Others 

‐ Will go to ADGAS Office once a week for client signature in the open NRIs 

‐ Will follow‐up the pending test reports  from ACES 

‐ Send the daily reports to Mr. Noe & Cc to Mr. Nick & Mr. Renan 

‐ Will report any issues to Mr. Noe & Cc to Mr. Nick

‐ Will send a soft copy of register for rock test results & concrete test results (CCS & Tensile) to 

Mr. Dharma of ADGAS every Thursday. (Note: every email send to ADGAS should be Cc to Mr. 

Nick, Mr. Noe & Ms. Nikoletta) 

‐ A focal person for QC in pre‐cast yard at DWF 

 

2. Sarfraj Hamad – Civil Inspector 

a. Rock Testing (remaining 17,000 tons to be provided by supplier) 

‐ Witness the field test 

‐ Review the test reports 

‐ Close‐out part 3a of NRIs with complete attachment 

b. Piles & Retaining Wall 

‐ Material receiving, sampling & testing inspection 

‐ Assembly of Pile reinforcement inspection 

‐ Close‐out part 3a of NRIs with complete attachment 

c. Updating the register for: 

‐ Rock test results 

‐ Transported rocks 

‐ Transported Core‐locs & QW Blocks 

d. Others 

‐ Will give information of transported pre‐cast units, rocks and other construction materials to 

Mr. Noe & Mr. Renan 

 

3. Roy Pruson – Civil Inspector  

a. Pre‐concreting inspection (with Roshan or Sarfraj) 

b. Casting inspection of pre‐cast units 

c. Post concreting inspection(with Roshan or Sarfraj) 

d. Updating the register for concrete compressive & tensile strength 

 

4. Other QC Personnel 

a. Ernesto Zambrano – Lab Technician (will go for vacation on 15th May 2016) 

‐ Field testing of fresh concrete 

b. Mohammad Isteyaque – Lab Technician 

‐ Assist the sampling & field testing of rocks 

‐ Check & monitor the loading of Core‐locs & QW Blocks to barge prior to sail 

c. Yadaiah Sudanvine – Labourer 

‐ Assist the field test of fresh concrete 

d. Arun Kumar Panday – Labourer 

‐ Demolding & assembly of cube molds 

‐ Assisting ACES for rock sieving & other lab testing 

‐ Maintain the housekeeping at lab 

 

5. ACES Personnel 

a. Alegbe Michael Shola  

‐ Conduct sampling, field & lab Testing of rocks 

‐ Monitor the delivery of rock materials for stockpiling & uploading to the barge during day time

‐ Prepare & send a soft copy of work sheets to ACES main lab (Abu Dhabi) for official test reports

b. Ajmal Nizamudeen 

‐ Monitor the delivery of rock materials for stockpiling & uploading to the barge during night 

time 

c. Alhad Abdulkader 

‐ Conduct field test of fresh concrete 

‐ Crushing of cube samples for concrete compressive & tensile strength 

‐ Arranging the cube samples in curing tank
