    DustIn the Image of God

    Adam, Eve and the Deceiver

    This is the book of the genealogy of Adam. In the day that Godcreated man, He made him in the likeness of God. He created them

    male and female, and blessed them and called them Man in the day

    they were created.

    Genesis 5:1

    And he said to thewoman, Has God indeed

    said, You shall not eat of

    every tree of the

    garden?And the woman

    said to the serpent, We

    may eat the fruit of the

    trees of the garden; but of

    the fruit of the tree whichis in the midst of the

    garden, God has said, You

    shall not eat it, nor shall

    you touch it, lest you die.

    Genesis 3: 1-3

    And God said to Noah,The end of all flesh has

    come before Me, for the

    earth is filled with

    violence through them;

    and behold, I will destroy

    them with the earth.

    Make yourself an ark ofgopher-wood; make

    rooms in the ark, and

    cover it inside and outside

    with pitch.

    Cain and AbelReal and Hypocritical Worship

    A Substitute Must Die: God killed an animal in order to cover the nakedness of Adam and Eve. Cain

    however, instead of bringing an animal to slay on the altar as God had demonstrated and required,instead brought fruits to the altar. In doing this, Cain revealed that his heart was still a lover of sin and

    still had and unregenerate heart, as opposed to his saved brother who brought what God required.

    Signifying that he knew he needed redemption and had faith in God to provide a substitute on his

    behalf. The substitute is Jesus Christ.

    for without the shedding of blood,

    there is forgiveness of sins.

    Hebrews 9:22

    For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of

    God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

    Romans 6:23

    Cain brought an offering of the fruit of the ground to the

    LORD. Abel also brought of the firstborn of his flock and oftheir fat. And the LORD respected Abel and his offering, but

    He did not respect Cain and his offering.

    God of TruthAnd He Died.

    Death of the Kings: Chapter five of Genesis lists for us the first fathers of humanity. A majority of tribes in

    the past and present also have in their legends, a list of ten kings before the flood accounts that they have.The first king was Adam and the last was Noah, from whom all people trace their family line. A clear truth

    that stands out in this chapter is the fulfilment of the Truthfulness of God; God said to Adam, you will

    surely die when you disobey me and eat from that tree but he refused to delight in the sovereignty of God

    and he eventually met spiritual death on that day and physical death later on. All his descendants have

    taken from this judgement, all being born spiritually dead and all physically dying as soon as they are born.

    And the LORD God commanded the

    manbut of the tree of the

    knowledge of good and evil you shall

    not eat, for in the day that you eat of

    it you shall surely die.Genesis 2:16-17

    Then the serpent said to the

    woman, You will not surely die.

    (The Liar and murderer. He

    murders by lying.)Genesis 3:4

    So all the days that Adam

    lived were nine hundred

    and thirty years; and he

    died.Genesis 5:5

    of the ark were Shem, Ham and

    Japheth. These are the sons of

    Noah, and by them was the

    whole earth repopulated.Genesis 9&10

    Abram dwelt in the land of Canaan, and Lot dwelt in

    the cities of the plain and pitched his tent even as far

    Then Moses and the children of Israel sang this song to the

    Jesus of Nazareth

    For unto us a Child is born,

    Unto us a Son is given;And the government will be upon His shoulder.

    And His name will be called

    Wonderful, Counsellor, Mighty God,

    Father of Eternity, Prince of Peace.

    Isaiah 9:6-7

    He is despised and rejected by men,

    A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief.

    And we hid, as it were, ourfaces from Him;

    He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.

    Surely He has borne our griefs

    And carried our sorrows;

    Yet we esteemed Him stricken,

    Smitten by God, and afflicted.But He was wounded for our transgressions,

    He was bruised for our iniquities;

    The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,

    And by His stripes we are healed.

    All we like sheep have gone astray;

    We have turned, every one, to his own way;

    And the LORD has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.

    The birds of prey willsummer on them, and

    Some persons think us too sever and censorious when we call the

    Roman pontiff anti-Christ but those who are of this opinion do not

    consider that they bring the same charge of presumption against Paulhimself after whom we speak and whose language we adopt. I shall briefly

    show that Paul's words in second Thessalonians 2 are not capable of any

    other interpretation than that which applies them to the papacy
