Dust Reduction for Soil Boost
Nobody likes getting dirty (except
perhaps Charlie Brown's friend Pigpen).
When handling Soil Boost in 2000 lb.
bulk bags, black dust from the product
can be very thick. The dust does not
hurt anything or anyone, but can make
the employees and surrounding area
dirty enough that a full cleanup is
needed before continuing with other
work. SoilBiotics offers a Dust
Suppressor solution to help reduce
dust created when handling, blending
or applying Soil Boost. The product is
treated with the solution, which is then
effective for up to four weeks. Once the
product has been treated, if it is placed
in storage and not applied within the
four week timeframe, we cannot
guarantee that the Soil Boost Dust
Suppressor is still viable. Cost is $21.00
a ton.

Residue Digestion
Sugar, sugar? In the past, one of our recommendations has been that
post-harvest, the breakdown of residue is aided by the application of
cold-press sugar. However, it is becoming harder and harder to find, and has
become quite expensive. By using SoilBiotics Growth Boost with Fall Digester
you can reduce crop residue and enhance the production of compost. The
recommended formula for residue digestion at 10 gallon per acre application
rate is as follows:
1 gallon per acre Growth Boost Fall Digester
3 to 5 gallons per acre Nitrogen either 28% or 32%
4 to 6 gallons per acre water
