A simple rule-of-thumb for effective mattingapplications...

• 41/2 meters of matting allows each foot to makecontactwithmattingatleast3times.

• 41/2 meters of matting is required to remove the majority of dirt and moisture from foot traffic.

• 41/2 meters can be divided in 3 mats, each with a minimum length of 11/2 meters.

Zone 1catchesthefirstwaveofheavydebris.Up to 40% of dirt/moisture is removed from shoes in the first 11/2meters.

Zone 2 scrapes fine debris and absorbs moisture in the indoor foyer area for up to 70% inthefirst3meters.

Zone 3completesthedryingprocess.Virtuallyall dirt and moisture is removed from shoes after 41/2meters.

Crush ResistanceIndicatesthetimeittakesforamattoloseitsattractiveappearanceandfunctionality.Thistestsimulatesthewearanentrancematwillreceiveundernormalfoottraffic.Thehigherthepointerinthetestchart,thegreateritsresistancetowearandcrushing.

Tuftedproductsaresewnintoabacking.Notraxusesonly the very best yarns offering high quality in terms ofwaterabsorptionandappearance.Tuftedproductsofferbroadchoiceofcoloursandpatterns.

Vinylstandsforpolyvinylchloride,alsoknownasPVC.Made from a plastic compound, vulcanized in to a flexible,durableandmoistureresistantmaterial;idealforuseasbackingundercarpetmatting,particularlyforlongerlengths.Notrax® compounds are free of toxicDOP.PVCisrecyclable. Nitrile is the trade’s word used for Acrylonitrile ButadieneStyrene,alsoknownasNBR.It’sasyntheticrubber characterised by its high tensile strength and property retention after exposure to heat, oil and chemicals.Notrax® washable logo and printed design matsaremadewith100%nitrilerubberbacking.
