PRESIDENT’S REPORT

The Chamber has secured a grant from the Hills Shire Council to hold a Festival of Lights over the Christmas and New Year period.

his will be a fantastic opportunity to showcase out local retail and business areas and have a bigger and brighter festive season. Hornsby Shire Council is

also on board in an in kind capacity and The Chamber looks forward to working with both our local councils.

I met with Geoff Starr during the month from the NSW Business Chamber and was updated on all the benefits our Chamber members receive from our alliance with this Chamber. Any business that joins Dural Chamber automatically becomes eligible for a number of free calls about any legal, marketing or staffing issues to the team at NSW Business Chamber. Our Chamber members are also invited to attend the many seminars and events hosted by the NSW Business Chamber.

I attended the Winners Cocktail party of the WSABE (Western Sydney Awards of Business Excellence) which was held at Lily’s Function Centre in Seven Hills last Thursday night. Having been a judge in the Awards for Excellence in Customer Service it was great to put a face to the winners and meet the people from the businesses and Lily’s Function Centre provided a most enjoyable evening. The Centre is currently being refurbished and the decor, staff and food and drinks were all exceptional.

Our next Chamber meeting will be held at The Dural Country Club on Wednesday the 23rd of September at 6:00 for 6:30 and will be specifically about the application for a zoning change applied to Hornsby Shire Council for 268-278 New Line Rd, Dural. The proposal seeks to rezone the above land from IN2 to B2 Local Centre under Hornsby Local Environmental Plan (2013) to support a wider range of commercial uses including a full size Supermarket, Specialty Retail, Offices and a Medical Centre.

The Chamber has already submitted a response to the application but encourages more discussion about the proposal. All welcome.

I was lucky enough to be gifted a day pass to The Billabong Retreat in Maraylya.

urrently residing in Kenthurst I was unaware that such an amazing facility was literally just down the road from me on Mc Clymonts

Rd. Purchased several years ago the owners have added to the original property and purpose built a certified eco yoga retreat.

As well as the individual cabins there are group facilities all situated in a huge timber building which comprises a top level of kitchen and common dining room, library and lounge, yoga room and huge covered but open area complete with lounges, seating and huge outdoor slow combustion fireplace. Downstairs there is a wellness centre with treatment rooms and offices where you can have your choice of massages or treatments.

The retreat currently offers two day experiences but has just commenced offering day retreats. I experienced the day retreat and I wanted to move in. The ambience and yoga was restorative, the vegetarian cuisine was very tasty and the hospitality warm and welcoming.

Sydney’s #1 FM Breakfast team, WSFM101.7’s Jonesy & Amanda, recently held one of their infamous Backyard Jam Competitions with The Radiators up for grabs as the band to appear in one lucky winner’s backyard on August 30.

hat lucky winner just happened to be none other than yours

truly, editor of Dooral Roundup magazine. I won the opportunity to relive my dream 50th!

The WSFM team was great and kept in contact throughout the whole process. It was all very surreal until the day came and it was time for them to start setting up in the backyard. The Radiators road crew was the first to appear, with no shortage of gear I might add – a full size PA and Engineer. Seeing The Radiators drum kit set up in my backyard - with their signature logo in full view, the excitement really started to set in! The food was supplied by Dave from Pig Out Spit Roast Catering who did an outstanding job with the beautiful food, and managed to keep our 100 plus guests full for a good 2 hours or more – I would really like to say a huge thank you to Dave and the team of waiters and waitresses who did and an outstanding job.

Brendan “Jonesy” Jones and Amanda Keller arrived around 3.30pm much to the excitement of the guests to which they played the perfect hosts, mingling and chatting with the crowd. The excitement accelerated to an even higher level when The

Rads appeared on stage, complete with a huge roar from our excited guests. The Radiators were nothing short of spectacular and had us all chanting and singing along to their hits. Everyone was up dancing including Amanda and Jonesy and the crowd was not at all willing to let The Rads leave in a hurry!

The Radiators were most gracious with the guests, chatting and signing autographs. What an amazing day! I had lived the dream and what a great example of how dreams really can come true.

For the first time in the history of The Hills Shire Council two women will lead, with former Mayor Dr Michelle Byrne re-elected as Mayor and Councillor Yvonne Keane elected to the role of Deputy Mayor. This election took place at an extraordinary meeting of Council on 1 September.

ayor Byrne thanked outgoing Mayor Andrew

Jefferies for his leadership and congratulated him on the development of new and much needed infrastructure and the outstanding financial results achieved by Council during his time as Mayor.

Mayor Byrne said she is proud of the strong financial position the Hills Shire Council is in after the release of the 2014-2015 financial report, and said these results show that the Hills Shire Council is indeed ‘Fit for the Future’.

Mayor Byrne said that a key focus for her as Mayor will be to create a vibrant, active and close-knit community where families and people want to live – which means planning now for growth in an area undergoing great change.

Mayor Byrne thanked the Hills community for their continued support and reiterated her commitment to serving the community she cares so much about.

“I continue to be impressed by the inspirational people and community groups that help to make the Hills Shire such a wonderful place to work and live.

I now have the privilege of accepting the role of Mayor and advocate for this incredible community that I love so much,” Mayor Byrne said.

In 2013 the Dural Stay Tuned choir was formed by Stuart and Suze Pratten as part of the wider SingUp! network of choirs.

tuart identified the need for a community choir in the northwest corridor of Sydney and Suze was keen to start

a community choir in the area having just moved from Coffs Harbour where she taught choirs at the Regional Conservatorium of Music. Led by the energetic and talented Suze, the choir has increased in numbers, confidence, technique and of course repertoire.

The Choir rehearses at Lorien Novalis School, Dural, and every Tuesday night in the school term.

In two short years the Choir has performed at the Blackheath Festival, Lorien Novalis Market Day, Rowland Village Family Day, Girls Night Out at Event Cinemas and most recently at the fundraiser for the reconstruction of Vanuatu after Cyclone Pam devastated parts of the island nation.

Attracting ‘shower’ singers and professionals from all walks of life that love to sing, has not only created a choir but social group of people willing to support the community and its many causes. Singing in a choir is a bit like the ultimate team sport! Everyone pulls together to make the best possible sound and the end result is incredibly satisfying! Singing in a choir is a bit like the ultimate team sport!

New people are always welcomed and all levels of experience are catered for. Very often, a more experienced choir member will support a new member to help them get to know the repertoire and to feel like they are an integral part of our singing community.

Stay tuned welcomes new members every term, so if you are interested, please contact Suze on [email protected]

If there was one word that described the history of our district it would be TREES.

ay back in the very early 1800’s, explorers and surveyors who came to this area reported an “inexhaustible supply

of timber” and for that reason Governor King proclaimed 34,000 acres, stretching North from about the newly established Government Farm at Castle Hill to about Maroota, as Crown Land.

In 1819 some of this area was released and the first grants were made to settlers who got busy clearing their land, selling timber, cutting shingles and building their homes. By 1850’s citrus orchards were being established on the higher areas were there was good soil (Wianamatta Shale), and water from springs. By the turn of the century this became the biggest citrus growing area in Australia, until the M.I.A.(Murrumbidgee Irrigation Area) was established in the early 1950’s. Their production costs were lower than the Hills district, and soon the old orchards were pulled out. The orchardists wondered what to do with their land, and decided to subdivide into 5 acre lots. This brought many new comers into the district. They wanted “privacy” and planted many exotic trees to shut themselves off from their neighbours. New Line Road was upgraded from a dusty track to take the newcomers to their jobs in the city.

In 1955, if you stood on high ground, such as Uralla Rd, you could see for miles and miles. The only trees visible were the few pine trees planted as “boundary markers”. So nearly all the trees around Dural are less than 60 years old. Now this area is the “Lungs” of Sydney, absorbing the Co2 and producing life giving Oxygen.

There are still some old “historic” trees about the district. The Hoop Pine and a Morton Bay Fig at Arcadia school were planted on 14th August 1897, which was Arbor Day. The Principal, Mr Knight had arranged the delivery of these trees from the Botanic Gardens in Sydney. The Hoop pine has been used by the RAAF as a landmark when approaching Richmond from the east. From its top you can see the CBD in Sydney and all the surrounding countryside. There was a famous old Angophora at Bus stables Corner until it was removed several years ago to make way for the Round-about. It was used like a notice board for every organisation to advertise meetings, special functions and anything for sale.

The large Camphor Laurel trees around the district may have a special origin when we realize that such trees were

planted to commemorate First World War servicemen. If anyone has a large old Camphor Laurel on their property they might like to do a little research at History Cottage and the Galston Cenotaph to see if there is a connection.

The Annual General Meeting of the Dural & District Historical Society will be held on Sat, 12th September at 2pm at History Cottage. At the close of the meeting members are invited to a “Show and Tell” when objects of Historical interest are displayed and spoken about.

THE WAY WE WERE

THE DURAL AND DISTRICT HISTORICAL SOCIETY LOCAL PAPERS REPORT FOR JULY, 2015

How Trees Formed our District By Margaret McKinley

W

RoSS GRieve’S StoRyRoss Grieve, who has lived all his life in the district tells this story. His father bought 25 acres from a Mr Stintson in Middle Dural along Old Northern Road in the late 1920’s. His father told Ross this story. A ship’s Captain by the name of John Foster sailed to Sydney in the early days and noted that the citizens seem to have plenty of money and nothing to spend it on. Returning to England he bought a sailing ship and stocked it with all sorts of goods. Sailing back to Sydney he sold the goods at a huge profit and then sold the ship.

Foster approached the Governor and was granted land that had a 2 and a half mile frontage to the east side of Old Northern Rd. in what we now know as Middle Rd. He cleared the land and planted about 300 Pine trees all along his frontage and the long drive to his house, which was a “Mansion”. This house was later used as a T.B. convalescent home for patients from Sydney, run by Mr. Stintson. John Foster eventually lost everything because of a gambling debt, and died a pauper in a slab hut on the other side of the road. The original pine tree were dead or dying when my dad bought the land, and he got a local saw miller (Black Jack Saunders) from Glenorie to fell the trees and take them away.

Ross can remember living in the Mansion as a small child, but the white ants and dry rot eventually destroyed the house and Mr Grieve built a new house on his property for his family.

My office has been inundated recently with residents’ concerns about local parks and sporting fields, and which takes priority.

ow, as a State MP, I cannot overrule any decision of Council, but that is not what has struck me most

about this debate. What has struck me, instead, is the need for Councils

and State Governments to work together to get proper planning outcomes.

16 long years delivered us planning outcomes from Labor which are a bad parody of the “do what you feel like” attitude first given prominence by The Simpsons.

What we are seeing now, though, is a much more consultative process from the Baird Government, a Government more interested in providing good outcomes than in playing politics.

The arrival of the North West Rail Link will bring new residents and new jobs to our community, but there will be challenges which will need to be met along the way.

This is where the communication comes in. New areas of the Hills need to be planned properly, and existing areas need to be managed properly to ensure the best outcome for local residents and local businesses.

Good planning doesn’t happen by accident, which has been ably proven by certain former Governments.

Driving to the conditions of the road will save you and others around you, while we get on with the job of bring Memorial Avenue into the 21st century.

Thank you VolunteersBy Andrew Jefferies, Mayor Hills Shire Council

MAYORAL UPDATE

13September 2015 – Dooral Roundup

Hornsby Shire Council has proposed two motions to be discussed at the annual Local Government NSW Conference in October, both of which would help revitalise the Shire’s strategic town centres.

ur goal is to create more lively urban centres that encourage people to work and shop in their local

neighbourhoods, at the same time we want to help make housing more affordable and lessen the burden public infrastructure puts on the public purse.

The first proposed motion is aimed at those who own commercial land in strategic town centres where the buildings have reached the end of their useful life. It would offer incentives for those property owners to undertake development when their land is up-zoned.

The second proposed motion seeks a way for the community to share in the profits that are made when properties are up-zoned, which inevitably leads to greater costs for the community. Property owners have a responsibility to contribute when their land is up-zoned, so that the community doesn’t shoulder the infrastructure costs that arise from the redevelopment of their land.

It is not unreasonable to seek a fairer balance that would see the commercial landowners contribute to those public costs.

The Hills Shire Council’s, Hills Community Care employs 55 staff, has 157 volunteers and provides a meals service for 234 people within The Hills Shire.

On behalf of the Hills Shire Council I would like to thank the Hills Community Care volunteers involved in Meals on Wheels who generously offer their time to support some of the most vulnerable and lonely people in our community. The time these volunteers dedicate to providing meals for the elderly in our community, plays a significant role in not only their physical, but their emotional wellbeing. In turn this care ensures that elderly community members feel valued and can continue to be active members of our local community.

REPRESENTING OUR AREA

Currently I am involved with national consultations on Australian Citizenship as part of my work as Special Envoy for Citizenship and Community Engagements.

orking with my colleague, Senator Fierravanti-Wells, we are embarking on the consultations which aim to

improve understanding of the privileges and responsibilities of Australian citizenship.

Some of the points to be considered will include Australian values, eligibility requirements of Australian citizenship and the level of public support for the revocations of citizenship. We are seeking to determine how well known and understood the responsibilities and privileges of citizenship are and how this can be enhanced.

Following the consultations and consideration of all submissions received, Senator Fierravanti-Wells and I will prepare a report for the Prime Minister and the Minister for Immigration and Border Protection.

Finally, it was my great pleasure recently to visit Cherrybrook Public School to present an Australian Flag to the School Captains.

During assembly I spoke about the importance of our Flag and I congratulate students for the attention and interest they displayed.

The new bridge in the Berowra Valley National Park exceeds the former bridge in weight limits, aesthetics and accessibility.

The installation of a the bridge will mean bushwalkers, Duke of Edinburgh participants and school groups can now again enjoy the historic Great North Walk without having to walk across the creek.

Minister Speakman agreed, “The park is one of those special places within Sydney that is well known and well-loved for its incredible natural beauty, cultural heritage importance and recreational opportunities.stop-shops that are resourced to deal with customer demand.

The latest Australian Bureau of Statistics figures show housing approvals for June had jumped nearly 10 per cent compared with this time last year.

lmost 4,900 new dwellings were given the green light in June. This brings the total number of housing approvals

for the last 12 months to 57,509, the third highest result in recorded history. Only twice before have housing approvals been higher than they were in the last 12 months. These figures show the great strength and continued growth in the NSW economy.

Official statistics from the ABS released today show that: > NSW recorded 4,840 dwelling approvals for the month > Approvals for June have increased eight per cent compared to this month last year (June 2014) > Approvals for the past 12 months to June are the highest since February 1995 and December 1994.

The NSW Government has: > Released and rezoned land for more than 70,000 new homes across Sydney > Expanded the Western Sydney Employment Area to unlock more jobs close to homes > Announced $77.6 million to support infrastructure for new homes in The Hills and Blacktown local government areas > Announced $46 million towards new parks, streetscapes and roads to support communities

By increasing housing supply, the NSW Government is offering homebuyers more choice and putting downward pressure on home prices.

“I can’t hear in background noise” is a very common complaint for people of all ages, straining to hear in cafes and restaurants. “I’m tired of smiling and pretending I know what is going on.”

he good news is that modern digital hearing aids make a difference in noisy situations.” says Katie Rahman of

Hear-Clear. Some of these features include:

1. Digital hearing aids can differentiate between speech and other noise. The hearing aid tunes into the speech while minimising other sounds. 2. Directional microphones automatically focus in front of the wearer. Some hearing aids can switch their focus to block out background sound.3. Binaural synchronisation. Some aids work together to hear the nearest voice. For example the aid close to background noise will mute slightly to enhance the ear closer to the speaking voice.

There will be times when technology is not able to compete with loud talking and laughter so be proactive to maximise the chances of hearing.

Bruce Allen of Hear-Clear outlines his top tips for dining. 1. A quiet restaurant with carpet and fittings to absorb noise. Sound can bounce in modern minimalist settings.2. A quiet table against the wall or in a quiet location, away from music speakers and the kitchen. 3. The best seat with your back to the noise in the middle of the group, to improve lip reading and block out distractions.4. Switch on your directional microphone to make best use of hearing aids.

If you have trouble hearing in background noise, get your hearing checked.

PeeR SuPPoRt Each week St Madeleine’s breaks in to groups of 6-8 children. Each group is a mixture of primary and infants children. In these groups they are discussing and completing activities about resilience and ways to keep and nurture friendships. They are guided by our capable Year 6 students.

It has been a wonderful success both for the group members who are learning about the importance of friendship and our leaders who have gained many skills and much confidence in readiness for their transition to high school.

Though the Archibald Prize recognizes a man or woman distinguished in art, writing, science or politics, Oakhill’s Teachibald recognizes any man or woman distinguished in teaching.

Whilst this opportunity is opened to all students and teachers to participate in this initiative, it is also a component of the Year 7 Visual Arts program. Students seek permission from their teachers to paint their portrait before embarking on their artwork. There are more than 130 portraits by students and staff exhibited in the Visual Arts Department.

s a Personal Travel Manager, I am often faced with this question and to me the answer

is very simple, ‘without a travel agent you’re on your own’.

The internet is a fantastic research tool when it comes to planning your travel, however I’ve no doubt you wouldn’t feel comfortable re-wiring your own house electrics i.e. there are professionals in each industry qualified to manage the task and a Travel Agent is no different. Whilst you might find a bargain online, you need to consider what you’d do if something goes awry whilst you’re travelling? How would you cope if arriving at midnight after a long-haul flight to find the 5-star hotel bargain you booked online, turns out to be a 2-star red door in a dodgy part of town and they don’t even have a booking for you?

Whilst I fully appreciate there will always be clients who are comfortable donning a pseudo-travel agent cap to manage their holiday, I pride myself on spending time with each client to help plan where you want to go, manage the booking process from start to finish and be on hand 24/7 during your travels, allowing peace of mind for you to enjoy your holiday.

Friendly reliable service, strong plant knowledge.Residential, Commercial and Strata.

Established in your local area.

There are many reasons why spring is a busy time in our local gardens.

ith the promise of warmer weather, lawns may be sprayed with an appropriate broad leaf herbicide,

or small areas hand weeded. A week or two later is a good time to apply a lawn fertiliser. The danger of frosts has now passed and it is a great time to attend to hard pruning of many evergreen shrubs where we are not awaiting spring flowers. Hard pruning of Azaleas and Camellia japonicas are best left until towards the end of September when the majority of flowering has finished and just prior to the surge in new vegetative growth. Fertilising of these shrubs should be carried out just after flowering. It is also a prime time to plant new shrubs as it gives a couple of months of milder weather for plants to become established prior to harsher summer conditions.

There are many benefits in using the services of a professional horticulturist to assist in plant selection, plant nutrition and pest and disease management. It can expedite the development of a balanced garden and avoid unnecessary wastage of resources. I would strongly recommend the use of a professional horticulturist such a Registered Horticulturist or member of the Australian Institute of Horticulture.

Wayne Van Balen is the current National President of the Australian Institute of Horticulture.

25September 2015 – Dooral Roundup

There are at least 2 scams doing the rounds at the moment. The first is an email and they claim they are from the ATO when in fact they are not.

he second is a phone call

stating that you either owe them money and they want payment.

Generally the ATO will not send you emails. They will send you letters. Do not respond if you get an email pretending to be from the ATO. Have a really good look at the from address. Better still pass this email onto your Accountant immediately.

The ATO do make phone calls to recover money when you owe money. These calls are only for outstanding monies that you genuinely owe. This may be from your Tax Return or if you run a Business from your BAS account. The calls will usually be from a collection agent. Be aware that if you are being chased for a payment you would have received numerous letters from the ATO about this debt. They do not just call you for money without first advising you or your accountant in writing.

So what can you do about this? First thing never respond to any email. You should onforward the email to your Accountant. Second thing IF you receive a call claiming to be from the ATO or their collection agent make sure you get a phone number and a name and then call them back. Better still you call the ATO directly 132865 ask provide your details and ask if there are outstanding debts on your account.

In all cases if you have an Accountant then give them the heads up immediately. If you need further help then please feel free to call us here at 9651 2288.

The steering system is responsible for maintaining the straight line and turning ability of your vehicle.

our steering wheel is connected to the front wheels through a steering column and rack assembly.

Steering effort is reduced with the aid of either hydraulic or electronic power assistance whilst the engine is running. Steering effort and feel is affected by many external factors.

Regular steering maintenance requires the inspection of various components and adjustment at selected kilometre and/or monthly interval, as specified by the manufacturer. Your steering requires periodic inspection to ensure optimum performance. If regular steering maintenance is not adhered to, gradual or instant changes in straight line driving and turning ability of your vehicle will be noticed.

Items that may indicate a fault with the steering system are:> Sudden increased efforts when turning the steering wheel> Bumps and knocks felt through the steering wheel when turning> Screeching noise when turning the steering wheel> Screeching noise when turning corners> Front tyres wearing unevenly.

For all your steering system maintenance enquiries or concerns please contact us at Good Year Autocare, Michael’s Tyrehouse, Dural. Phone 9651 5900.

A few suggestions on the best way to create an outdoor entertaining area.

ne suggestion I would like to make is that joining your indoor entertaining areas with your outdoor areas is

very popular at the moment. By using bi-fold doors or large glass panes between your indoor and outdoor areas, you are able to expand your living space and create flow between the two spaces. This is ideal for the warmer months, which are approaching fast. If you are wishing to create flow between your entertaining areas, a good way to do this is by matching the colour schemes and designs of your indoor living spaces with your outdoor entertaining area. Do this is by using the same coloured paint, lighting and same flooring, such as tiles or timber between the two areas.

Using similar furniture combinations and cushions between your indoor and outdoor areas will increase the sense flow and create the illusion of more space.

The use of ceiling fans in you outdoor areas are a good way to create a cool breeze in the warmer months and circulate heat in the cooler months. Ceiling fans will also help you to link you indoor and outdoor areas together.

Outdoor kitchens and fireplaces are also another popular outdoor featuret. Outdoor fireplaces are ideal for the colder months and will enhance the flow between the indoor and outdoor living areas. Outdoor kitchens are great for the summer months when cooking by the pool is a nice way to end the day.

Outdoor living areas also compliment homes with pools and spas. A good way to do this is by applying clear glass fencing around them.

O

There has been a run of problems after the recent frosts of black stuff in pools. This problem will generally occur on older pools with older solar systems.

ver time the chlorine and pH differences will gradually degrade the inside of the solar tubing on

your roof. This is not a problem until a severe frost which causes the tubing to shrink and expand and the interior surface to delaminate or break away. The next time your solar turns on, all of this debris in the solar tubes, is ejected straight into your pool making it look like a black snow dome.

What can you do to prevent this problem? If the surface has broken away then there is nothing to do but keep running the solar system until all of the debris is in the pool and then flock and vac the rubbish to waste. If it hasn’t happened to you yet, then making sure that your solar system is set in winter mode each year will help to minimise the chances of it occurring. Winter mode runs the solar system for just 5 minutes every day and this keeps the inside of the tubes moist and also keeps the pump bearings moving and running well.

If you need to replace your solar matting then there are new heating options available such as heat pumps which could be more cost effective in the long term and also heat when you want to heat.

Come in to see us at Dural Poolsmart, SPASA NSW Pool Shop of the Year 2015, to help get your pool ready for this spring or like us on Facebook to get regular hints and tips on keeping your pool clean and clear all year.

In contrast at the moment, we have very few dwellings and strong competition pushing up prices and auction clearance levels

omeowners thinking of selling might never find a more perfect time than now. They have the potential

advantage of many motivated buyers and low levels of stock, which can only mean one thing – a quick and strong sale.

The notion that my property is worth more in spring is old school at the moment – it’s all about supply & demand no matter what the season!

Yes spring is a great season that we all look forward to but apart from the flowers and sunshine and rising temperatures. Sellers should be more concerned about the fundamental basics of presenting their home to compliment the spring season – light, bright, fresh and uncluttered are some of the key words that come to mind.

Many homeowners think they must buy before they sell in a hot market but with many buyers looking for an extended settlement the opportunity is there to sell first .

Therefore if you are thinking of selling you should act now while the market is high, extend the settlement and then buy from a position of strength in the knowledge that you have sold and exactly how much you have to spend.

So make your first step the right one, and contact LJ Hooker Dural today. Remember, it all starts with an appraisal.

If you are starting a vegetable garden, or even if you have an established vegetable garden, you may wonder what is the best soil for growing vegetables.

n general, vegetable garden soil should be well draining and loose. It should not be too heavy (i.e. clay soil)

or too sandy. All vegetables need a healthy amount of organic material in the soil they grow in. Organic material serves many purposes. It provides many of the nutrients that plants need to grow and thrive and organic material “softens” soil and makes it so that the roots can more easily spread through the soil. Organic material also acts like small sponges in the soil and allows the soil in your vegetable to retain water. Organic material can come from either compost or rotted manure, or a combination of both.

When it comes to soil preparation for vegetable garden, these three nutrients are the basic nutrients that all plants need. While organic material does provide these nutrients, you may have to adjust them individually depending on your individual soil. This can be done with chemical fertilizers or organically.

At Langlands Landscape Supplies we have a full range of soils suitable for your garden. For further advice please call on 9651 2102.
