Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council. Listed below are noteworthy road works, which

the Traffic and Road Safety Section has been informed of. Details are supplied as per

information received by 16:00 hrs on the preceding Thursday. Emergency road works

cannot be forecast.

» N11 - Resurfacing Road works (night works) ***

The N11 Northbound will be closed between Junction 6 and 5 on Monday, 28th and Tuesday, 29th September 2015 between 22:00 – 06:00 hrs. The N11 northbound from M50 Junction 17 northbound to the Loughlinstown roundabout will close on Wednesday, 30th September 2015 between 22:00 – 06:00 hrs. Diversions will be signposted for the duration of the closures.

» Stillorgan Road – R138 – UCD to Johnstown Road Junction (night works) ***

Bus lane lining, bus logos and bus stop markings will commence on Monday, 28th September 2015 until Monday, 12th October 2015 between 23:00 and 06:00 hrs. (weather dependent). A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

» Kilmacud Road Lower ***

(between junction of Kilmacud Road Upper and Allen Park)

Footpath reconstruction works will commence on Monday, 28th September 2015 until Friday 16th October 2015 between 8:00 and 18:00 hrs. Footpath on north side will be inaccessible during the works and all pedestrians will be diverted through the pedestrian crossings at both junctions. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

» Wyckham Way – Wyckham Way Roundabout to Ballinteer Ave Roundabout **

(night works)

Road Markings renewal and upgrade of all road markings between the Wyckham Way Roundabout and the Ballinteer Avenue Roundabout on the Wyckham Way will be undertaken under night works between 20:00 and 06:00 hrs. from Monday, 28th September 2015 to Friday, 2nd October 2015 (weather dependent). A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

» Taney Avenue, Dundrum *

Footpath reconstruction works will commence on Monday, 28th September 2015 until Friday, 9th October 2015 between 8:00 and 18:00 hrs. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

# Fairyhill, Newtownpark Avenue, Blackrock *

Footpath reconstruction works will continue until Friday, 2nd October 2015 between 8:00 and 18:00 hrs. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

# Thornhill Road, Mount Merrion *

Jointing and over banding works will continue until Friday, 2nd October 2015 between 8:00 and 18:00 hrs. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

Leopardstown Road – R113 ***

Leopardstown Link Road and Roundabout Reconfiguration Scheme

Leopardstown Link Road OPENED to traffic on Wednesday, 22nd July 2015, providing a new access to South County Business Park, Leopardstown Race Course and Leopardstown Park Hospital. Works now progressing on Brewery Road, the Roundabout and Burton Hall Road as part of the signalisation of the roundabout. Burton Hall Road heading east towards Roundabout down to 1 lane either direction from Monday, 14th September 2015 for approximately 5 weeks. Localised Traffic Management will be in place, inclusive of lane closures and Stop / Go as required. Expected completion date of entire scheme – 2nd Quarter 2016

Dodder Road Lower ***

Dodder River wall repair works will continue until Friday, 2nd October 2015 between 07:30 and 18:00 hrs. The road will be reduced to single lane and managed by temporary traffic lights. The western footpath will be closed; pedestrians can cross to the eastern path at signed designated crossing points. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation for the duration of the works.

Corbawn Lane and Shanganagh Road (part of) ***

Road Restoration works will take place on Corbawn Lane and Shanganagh Road (part of) until Friday, 23rd October 2015 with restricted working hours on:

• Corbawn Lane between 8:00 and 18:00 hrs. - Monday to Friday

• Shanganagh Road between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. - Monday to Friday

• Shankill Roundabout - night works until 23:00 hrs.

A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation for the duration of the works inclusive of lane closures and Stop / Go as required. Traffic Lights will be altered / switched off when required.

Ballinteer Road, Ballinteer **

The Ballinteer Road Traffic Safety Improvement scheme began on site on Monday, 24th August 2015 and will last approximately three months. Works will take place on Ballinteer Road between the Sandyford Green Route and the junction of Ballinteer Road/Ballinteer Avenue. Stop / Go Traffic Management will be in place at junction with College Park intermittently between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation for the duration of the works.

N11 - Public Lighting Upgrade Works **

Public lighting upgrade works will continue until Friday, 30th October 2015 on N11 outbound lane between Fosters Avenue Junction and Mount Merrion Junction between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. and between 19:30 and 23:30 hrs. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation for the duration of the works.

Public Lighting Lantern and Bracket Upgrade Works **

Public lighting lantern and bracket upgrade works will take place on:

1. Ballinteer Avenue 2. Dublin Road 3. Shanganagh Road 4. Killiney Hill Road 5. Crofton Road

These works will continue until end of September 2015.

A Stop / Go Traffic Management Plan will be in operation as required.

Irish Water *

Irish Water meter installation works will continue next week.

A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.
