the Traffic and Road Safety Section has been informed of. Details are supplied as per

information received by 16:00 hrs on the preceding Thursday. Emergency road works

cannot be forecast.

Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 Temporary Closure of St. Peter’s Terrace, Glasthule

Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council has made an order to temporarily close St. Peter’s Terrace (Cul de Sac) Glasthule, from its junction with Adelaide Road from Monday, 13th July 2015 to Friday, 14th August 2015 both dates inclusive.

The purpose of the closure is to facilitate road restoration works and associated works. This work will be done on a phased basis which will allow local access to residents for the duration of the works.

The proposed diversion route will be signposted and further details will be available on our website – www.dlrcoco.ie

Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council has made an order to temporarily close Waltham Terrace (Blackrock) at its junction with Mount Merrion Avenue and Green Road to through traffic from Monday, 13th July 2015 to Friday, 2nd October 2015 both dates inclusive. The purpose of the closure is to facilitate road restoration works and associated works. This work will be done on a phased basis which will allow local access to residents for the full duration of the works. The proposed diversion route will be signposted and further details will be available on our website – www.dlrcoco.ie

Temporary Closure of the following roads in Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown area ***

Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council have made an order to CLOSE the

following roads to facilitate the Ironman 70.3 Dublin Triathlon Event which will take place on Sunday, 9th August 2015 in the administrative area of Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council: Section A: Marine Parade, Otranto Place and Sandycove Avenue West from 07:00hrs to 17:00hrs on Saturday, 8th August 2015. Section B: Windsor Terrace, Newtownsmith, Marine Parade, Otranto Place, Sandycove Avenue West and Sandycove Point from 04:00hrs to11:00hrs on Sunday, 9th August 2015. Section C: Newtownsmith, Queen’s Road, Crofton Road, Dunleary Road, Old Dunleary Road, Longford Terrace, Seapoint Avenue, Newtown Avenue, Temple Road, Frascati Road, Rock Road from 06:30hrs to 10:30hrs on Sunday, 9th August 2015.

Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 Temporary Closure of Stradbrook Road, Blackrock (Nightworks) *** Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council has received an application from SIAC to temporarily close Stradbrook Road, Blackrock on Tuesday, 25th August 2015 and Wednesday, 26th August 2015 from 20:00 to 06.00 hrs. on both days. The purpose of the closure is to facilitate road re-surfacing works. A Traffic Management Plan will be in place and diversions will be signposted. Site Investigation Works for Cycle Improvement Scheme will commence on Monday, 10th August 2015 until Friday, 28th August 2015 between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation for the duration of the works.

» Dundrum By Pass / Main Street Dundrum (nightworks) **

Reinstatement works will take place on the Dundrum By Pass at the junction of Dundrum By Pass with Main Street, Dundrum to following the laying of a gas main. Works will take place at night between 21:30 and 05:00 hrs. beginning on Tuesday and Wednesday night, 11th and 12th August 2015. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation for the duration of the works. » Nutgrove Avenue, Nutgrove **

Works will take place on Nutgrove Avenue to facilitate the installation of a signalised pedestrian crossing near the Rathfarnham Scouts Den beginning on Monday, 10th August 2015 for approximately four weeks. Stop/Go Traffic management may be in operation intermittently between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. during this period. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation for the duration of the works. » Ballinteer Road, Ballinteer **

The Ballinteer Road Traffic Safety Improvement scheme will begin on site next Thursday 13th August 2015, and will last approximately three months. Works will take place on Ballinteer Road between the Sandyford Green Route and the junction of Ballinteer Road/Ballinteer Avenue. Stop / Go Traffic Management Plan may be used intermittently between the hours of 10:00 and 16:00 - Monday to Friday as necessary. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation for the duration of the works. » Ballyogan Wood, Ballyogan *

Work will take place on construction of a pedestrian link between Gaelscoil Shilabh Rua and Ballyogan Wood Luas stop through Ballyogan Wood Estate on Monday, 10th August 2015 between 08:00 and 18:00 hrs. and will last for approximately four weeks.

A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation for the duration of the works. # Shanganagh Road Junction / Commons Road / River Road ***

Junction improvement works commenced on-site on Wednesday, 24th June 2015 at the junction of Shanganagh Road / Commons Road / River Road. A Stop /Go Traffic Management Plan will be in place to facilitate road crossings. Works will continue until mid-August. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation for the duration of the works.

# Goatstown Road / Roebuck Road Junction, Goatstown **

Drainage works will continue on Goatstown Road / Roebuck Road Junction until Friday,

28th August 2015 between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation. # Albany House, Shanganagh Road (near Ballybrack Village) **

Works will take place on Shanganagh Road to lay surface water drainage from Albany House to a surface water outfall will continue until Friday, 15th August 2015.

A Stop / Go Traffic Management Plan will be in operation. # Enniskerry Road, Kilternan (at Golden Ball) **

Stop / Go Traffic Management Plan will be in operation at the junction of Enniskerry Road with Glenamuck Road near Cromlech Close - Kilternan, to facilitate services connection across the Enniskerry Road until Wednesaday, 12th August 2015 between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. A Traffic Management Plan will be in place. # Public Lighting Lantern and Bracket Upgrade Works **

Public lighting lantern and bracket upgrade works will take place on:

Ballinteer Avenue Dublin Road and Shanganagh Road

These works will continue until end of August 2015.

A Stop / Go Traffic Management Plan will be in operation as required. # Cross Avenue, Blackrock *

Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council will undertake a traffic management scheme at the eastern end of Cross Avenue, Blackrock on Monday, 13th July 2015. These include the construction of an uncontrolled raised crossing and build outs for additional school warning lights. The works will continue until end-August 2015. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

Frascati Road / Temple Hill Improvement Scheme, Blackrock ***

Construction works for the Frascati Road / Temple Hill Improvement Scheme will continue until August 2015. A new temporary road and junction layout will be in place to facilitate junction improvement works at Temple Hill / Newtownpark Avenue, Blackrock. This will be in place on Temple Hill between Monkstown Road and Newtownpark Avenue junctions. As part of this Traffic Management Plan there will be “No Right Turn” movement allowed from Temple Hill onto Newtownpark Avenue for the duration of these works. A diversion route will be in place via Stradbrook Road, Dean’s Grange Road, Brookville Park and Benamore Road. The new layout and diversion routes will be fully signposted for the duration of the construction works on this section of road and junction. A Traffic Management Plan will be in place. Traffic disruption will be kept to a minimum with business as usual. Leopardstown Road – R113 *** Leopardstown Link Road and Roundabout Reconfiguration Scheme

Leopardstown Link Road OPENED to traffic on Wednesday, 22nd July 2015, providing a new access to South County Business Park, Leopardstown Race Course and Leopardstown Park Hospital. Work will now continue on the conversion of the Leopardstown Roundabout to a signalized junction and associated road works. A Traffic Management Plan / (Diversions) will be in place. Churchtown Road Lower, Churchtown *

A drainage connection to public foul sewer will take place on Churchtown Road Lower on Saturday, 8th August 2015 (1 day) between 09:00 and 21:00 hrs. A Shuttle Control Stop / Go Traffic Management Plan will be in place. » Irish Water *

Irish Water meter installation works will continue next week. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.
