Voting in Cayuga and Oswego Counties Again ThisYear!Once again GSAR will offer satellite voting for Cayuga andOswego counties. Voting in Cayuga County will takeplace on Tuesday, August 27th at the Seymour Librarylocated at 176-178 Genesee St., Auburn. You can park inthe back and enter through the back door!Voting in Oswego County will take place Wednesday,August 28th at the Oswego Public Library located at 120E. Second St., Oswego. Voting times for both countieswill be from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm. To be able tocontinue to offer voting at satellite sites, pleaseencourage your peers to get out and vote!

Last year, New York state passed a new law requiringevery employer to provide one hour of sexual harassmenttraining to every employee prior to October 9, 2019. Therequirement covers every employee not only of the broker,but if a licensee or team has a personal assistant or othernon-licensed support position, that individual must be anemployee and would be required to take the sexualharassment training. GSAR will hold a training class onThursday, September 26th at 3:00 pm at the GSAR
office.

MLS Tip of the WeekExempt Listings - If the seller refuses to permit thelisting to be disseminated by the Service, the Participantmay then take the listing (Office Exclusive) and suchlisting shall be filed with the Service but not disseminatedto the Participants. Filing of the listing should beaccompanied by certification ("office exclusive form")signed by the seller that he does not desire the listing tobe disseminated by the Service. The listing contract andcertification form (office exclusive) must be received at theservice within 2 business days.
