WHAT IS DRUPALCAMP?DrupalCamp St. Louis is a fun, open, educational, community-driven conference. Everyone is welcome to attend, whether beginner or expert, developer, designer, or business person. Sessions will cover a variety of topics, and sprints and other events surrounding DrupalCamp are meant for all to attend!
DrupalCamp St. Louis 2017 is the fourth annual DrupalCamp held by the organizers behind the St. Louis Drupal Users Group, which has been meeting monthly in and around St. Louis, MO since 2007. This year’s
camp will be held at the University of Missouri - St. Louis campus.
WHAT’S DRUPAL?Drupal is a content management system (CMS) and web application framework: a tool for building robust websites and web applications and managing content. Drupal now runs over 7% of sites on the web, from local community groups to international corporations, universities, newspapers and government agencies. It’s an open-source, modular framework written primarily in PHP and maintained and developed by a community of over 1,000,000 users!
OUR GOALS
We have two main goals in organizing the conference.
COMMUNITY BUILDINGWe would like to create a meeting point for those in the Midwest who are interested in what the local professionals can offer to Drupal, and we would like to establish an environment where it is possible and
affordable to spend quality time together, share knowledge, and learn Drupal from each other.
BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY DEVELOPMENTAnother goal of DrupalCamp St. Louis is to become a place to build business relationships and foster networking between the regional Drupal resources and with those in other US markets. The area has a lot to offer in the field as there are hundreds of midsize Drupal shops and thousands of freelancers specializing in Drupal. There is need from all around the world for these people and we are confident that we can help fill those gaps. DrupalCamp St. Louis will be an environment where the supplies and the demands can meet.

CAMP SCHEDULE
Planning is currently underway for what is sure to be our best DrupalCamp St. Louis yet! DrupalCamp St. Louis attracts some of the top professionals in the field of Drupal to lead sessions. While we plan to open up calls for speakers and sessions soon, we can say that DrupalCamp will be a two day event featuring the the latest from the world of Drupal.
Our schedule for the Camp will be as follows:

THE VENUE
The event will be held on September 22 - 23 at the University of Missouri - St. Louis. The event will be hosted at the 126 Social Sciences & Building Business (SSB) on the North Campus. The location is easily accessible by public transportation or car, with plenty of parking on the days of the event.
THE UNIVERSITY OF MISSOURI - ST. LOUIS
With nearly 17,000 students, UMSL is the largest public research university in eastern Missouri. It provides excellent learning experiences and leadership opportunities to a diverse student body whose influence on the region upon graduation is immense.
UMSL is spread across 470 acres in suburban St. Louis County. It has a mix of modern and historic academic buildings as well as a variety of student residence halls, condominiums and apartments. It’s the perfect setting for students to gain unique insights from outstanding faculty and work experience from internships at companies and organizations found only in this world-class metropolitan region.
