AEO - Ms Cutmore Katriel Riley: For being CONFIDENT to have a go at adding two digit numbers together. Office - Mrs O’Callaghan and Mrs Tadman Shae Stone-Glover: For her quiet and polite manner when at the office. O n Tuesday last week I took a fantastic group of Year 6 students to Duval High School to participate in the Year 9 and 10 Premier Sporting Challenge. e students participated in a variety of different sporting activities, with a focus on cooperation, confidence and skill development. I was incredibly proud of our students. ey showed the Duval High School students just how fantastic DMPS students are; they were polite, respectful, enthusiastic and appreciative. Well done to all of those involved! I nvitations have also started coming in for Year 6 students to attend the Taster Lessons at both Armidale High School and Duval High School. ese Taster Lessons involve students participating in class lessons to familiarise themselves with the routine, expectations and layout of the high schools. It also provides them with an opportunity to meet Year 6 students from other contributing primary schools. ese lessons are crucial to the student’s transition from primary school to high school. e more lessons they attend the more confident and ready they will feel at the beginning of next year. O n Friday 9 June we have the Responsible Pet Program for the junior students. is program will help them to identify the needs of pets and give them an understanding of what they need to do to ensure they are looking aſter their pets properly. A ll students have been training for the school Athletics Carnival. is will be held on Friday 16 June and we invite you to come along to support and encourage your child as they run, jump and throw against other students in their age group. On Tuesday last week I took a fantastic group of Year 6 students to Duval High School to participate in the Year 9 and 10 Premier Sporting

They showed the Duval High School students just how fantastic DMPS students are; they were polite, respectful, enthusiastic and appreciative. Well done to all of those involved!
