Encouraged The Australian Code for the Responsible

Conduct of Research 2007 "Research data should be made available for use by other

researchers unless this is prevented by ethical, privacy or confidentiality matters".

The Code is the instrument of the major funders (ARC, NHMRC) and Universities Australia but is mostly aspirational and not enforced

(including research data) be made openly available ARC changes its Funding Rules for 2015 to require
