START WITH
Every day of the season, youth ages 4-14 can start with WOODWARD.
WOODWARD is a freestyle indoor/outdoor group session (i.e. lesson) for first time level 1 beginner snowboarders and skiers, up to level 3. Start your progression with snow terrain features and WOODWARD soft floor gymnastic programming to take you through the basic movements and body awareness to ski and snowboard. Youths will experience unobstructed play, build confidence, play games, and develop tricks in these day sessions.

DISCOVER SKIING OR SNOWBOARDING All day Group Lesson packages are designed to introduce adults ages 15+ to ski or snowboard. Package includes beginner level all day lesson, lift, rentals and lunch.
PRIVATE LESSONS If you are looking for a more personal learning experience, a private lesson is for you. Available for skiers and snowboarders of all abilities and ages. Reservations are suggested.
ELDORABLES & TREKEldorables is for children ages 4-5 can register for half day options on Thursdays and Fridays and all-day on weekends.
TREK is for ages 6-14 and has a classic ski progression that embraces learn to ski basics, then carve to ski the whole mountain and geared towards racing. This is a great beginner, intermediate to advanced skiing pathway that is fun.

EQUIPMENT RENTALSOur Rental and Demo Center is located in the Indian Peaks Lodge. A helpful and efficient staff offers over 1,000 sets of skis, boots, poles, and snowboards. Eldora offers a fleet of Volkl rental skis, Burton snowboards and an inventory of Volkl, HEAD, Atomic, and Salomon Demo Skis. Try our equipment for the ride of your life. Rossignol x-country classic and skate skis and snowshoes are available at the Nordic Center.
RENTAL HELMETSEldora offers child and adult helmets for rent. We encourage this option for your safety. Helmets are available in the Indian Peaks Lodge.
RETAILEldora Mountain Sports is located in the Timbers Lodge and provides a complete selection of accessories, gifts and great Eldora logo wear. Accessories are also available in Indian Peaks Lodge and the Nordic Center.
WINTERSTEIGER TUNING CENTEREldora is proud to offer a state-of-the-art tuning facility.
Located in the Indian Peaks Lodge, the Wintersteiger tuning center is for both skis and snowboards. Drop off your skis or snowboard with us and have them tuned while you wait. Typically it takes no more than 45 minutes.
DAY STORAGEA Basket Check is located in the Indian Peaks Lodge, and lockers downstairs in the Timbers Lodge for your convenience. A great spot to store items like hats, goggles, gloves and shoes for the day, or leave your bags in your vehicle.

SNOW IMMERSION & TREE WELL SAFETYIf you leave the groomed trails at Eldora, you are voluntarily accepting the risk of a deep snow immersion accident. A deep snow or tree well immersion accident occurs when a skier or rider falls into an area of deep, unconsolidated snow and becomes immobilized and suffocates.
ELDORA TRAIL MAPCOLORADO SKI SAFETY ACTIt is your duty to obey the law. The Colorado State Legislature recognizes that dangers are inherent in the sport of skiing, regardless of any and all reasonable safety measures that can be employed. Therefore, the Colorado Skier Safety Act of 1979, as amended, contains provisions that are important to all members of the skiing public. Copies of the Act are available at any ticket office or Ski Patrol facility.Under Colorado law, a skier assumes the risk of injury to person or property resulting from any of the inherent dangers and risks of skiing and may not recover from any ski area operator for any injury resulting from any of the inherent dangers and risks of skiing, including changing weather conditions, existing and changing snow conditions, bare spots, rocks, stumps, trees, cliffs, extreme terrain, jumps and freestyle terrain, collision with natural objects, man-made objects or other skiers, variations in terrain, and the failure of skiers to ski within their own abilities.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITY CODEEldora can be enjoyed in many ways. You may see people using alpine, snow-board, telemark, cross-country or other specialized ski equipment, such as that used by disabled skiers. Regardless of how you decide to enjoy the slopes, always show courtesy to others and be aware that there are elements of risk in skiing and snowboarding, which common sense and personal awareness can help reduce. Observe the code listed below and share with others the responsibility for a great skiing or snowboarding experience.
• Always remain in control and be able to stop or avoid other people and objects.
• People ahead of you have the right of way. It is your responsibility to avoid them.
• Do not stop where you obstruct a trail or are not visible from above.
• Whenever starting downhill or merging onto a trail, look uphill and yield to others.
• Always use devices to help prevent runaway equipment.
• Observe all posted signs and warnings. Keep off closed trails and out of closed areas.
• Prior to using any lift, you must have the knowledge and the ability to load, ride, and unload safely.
PLEASE BE AWARE that Snowmobiles, Snowcats and Snowmaking equipment may be encountered at anytime.
Skiers and riders should be advised that a green circle, blue square or black diamond trail at Eldora Mountain Resort is not necessarily the same as a similarly rated trail at another area. The system is a relative system that is valid only at this area. Skiers and riders should work their way up, beginning with the easiest trails no matter what their ability level may be, until they are familiar with the trails at Eldora Mountain Resort.
Designated with orange shading, may contain jumps, hits, ramps, banks, fun boxes, jibs, rails, half pipes, quarter pipes, snowcross, bump terrain and other constructed or natural terrain features. Prior to using WOODWARD, you are responsible for familiarizing yourself with freestyle terrain and obeying all instructions, warnings and signs. Freestyle skills require maintaining control on the ground, and in the air. Use of Freestyle Terrain exposes you to the risk of serious injury or death. Inverted aerials are not recommended. You assume the risk.
RESPECT GETS RESPECTRespect Freestyle Terrain and others. Only one person on a feature at a time. Wait your turn and call your start. Always clear the landing area quickly. Respect all signs and do not enter Freestyle Terrain or use features when closed.
LIFT SAFETYBe advised that you cannot board a lift unless you have sufficient physical dexterity, ability and knowledge to negotiate or to use such lift safely, or until you have asked for and received information sufficient to enable you to load, ride and unload the lift safely. You may not use a lift or any ski trail when under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
SLOW ZONESCertain areas (highlighted on the map) are designated as SLOW ZONES. Please observe the posted slow zone areas by maintaining a speed no faster than the general flow of traffic. Fast and aggressive skiing and riding will not be tolerated.
