Discon nec t the sa fet y be lt b uck le s wit ch electrical connector. 3. Move an d ti lt t he fr ont sea ts t o their h igh est and most forward position. 4. Dep owe r the SRS. For additi ona l infor mat ion , refer to Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) Depowering and Repowering in the General Procedures portion of Section 501-20B. 5. Dis connec t the power d riv er se at el ect ric al connector (if equipped). 6. Remove the saf ety belt bu ckl e su ppo rt bolt cover plug. Driver Seat

Special Tool(s)

Seat Belt Bolt Bit (Used for

T50 Head Bolt)501-010 (T77L-2100-A)

Removal

7 Using the special tool remove the safety belt1 Position the driver seat rearward buckle support bolt

2 Remove the driver seat front track-to-floor

bolts

8 Disconnect the safety belt buckle switch

electrical connector

3 Move and tilt the front seats to their highest

and most forward position

4 Depower the SRS For additional information

refer to Supplemental Restraint System (SRS)

Depowering and Repowering in the General

Procedures portion of Section 501-20B

5 Disconnect the power driver seat electrical

connector (if equipped)

6 Remove the safety belt buckle support bolt

cover plug

9 Remove the driver seat rear bolt trim covers 3 Connect the safety belt buckle switch electrical

connector

10 Remove the driver seat rear bolts

4 Repower the SRS For additional information

refer to Supplemental Restraint System (SRS)Depowering and Repowering in the General

Procedures portion of Section 501-20B

5 Position the seat rearward

6 Tighten the seat front track-to-floor bolts in

sequence shown

1 Tighten the front inboard bolt

2 Tighten the front outboard bolt

11 CAUTION Use care when handling

the seat and track assembly Dropping the

assembly or sitting on a seat not secured in

the vehicle may result in damaged

components

Remove the driver seat from the vehicle

Installation

1 Position the seat into the vehicle Install all the

seat track-to-floor bolts and hand-tighten them

7 Move and tilt the seat to its highest and most2 Connect the power seat electrical connector (if forward position

equipped)
