Basic Device Operation
Bluetooth Connectivity
The Android device will connect to the On-Board recorder via Bluetooth. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device.
Cellular Connectivity
An additional charging cable for the device is necessary. It is highly recommended the device is mounted and the device is chargingwhen in the cab of the vehicle. We recommend J. J. Keller Mobile® be the active application (on the screen).
It is also critical to determine if the connection to the cellular network is present. You can check this on the main screen of the device.Signal strength, often 3G/4G, will also be identified. This solution will also work with a ‘Wifi’ only device. Ensure you are connected to awireless network.

Odometer Calibration
To calibrate your odometer, select Menu, select System Menu, select Diagnostics, then select Odometer Calibration.
This allows the driver to enter actual dashboard odometer. The engine odometer and dashboard can drift apart a bit, so by calibrating,we are accounting for the gap so fuel tax trip reports are accurate to the dash odometer.
Odometer Calibration Screen
The user will be prompted to calibrate the odometer approximately every 30 days to ensure the engine and dashboard odometers are inalignment.
