1. Before going
1.1 Check tools
Test Mobile: 2 piece Mostly we have the third mobile for
receive
GPS: 1 piece
Mobile cable: 2 pieces
Com port Hub PCM to Com port card: 1 piece;Mobile charger: 1
piece
Power extension: 1 piece
Compass: 1 piece
Inverter: 1 piece
Laptop: 1 piece
Note: before going, we must confirm we have all the tools and
they are working well.
1.2 Check site information
Check you have the site information or not.
Example: site name, Bore, BCCH, Bsic, HSN, route,MAetc. If you
didnt have this
information, you can get it from OMC BCCH BSIC HSN
Note: This item is not necessary before going, because we can
get it on the way; but we
must know the site ID/site name, at least we must know the
direction. Dont poles apart!
Note: before going, we must have enough money!
2 Testing
1 when we arrived at the site, check the azimuth first
If the azimuth is not correct, dont test it, pls call OMC.
2 Check BCCH Bsic HSN RL timeout counter(MAX 32) and frequency
in MA.
All these parameters must be same as the plan, if something is
wrong, pls tell Omc. when all
the parameters is correct, then begin DT.
3 we must open service + neighbor window & current channel
window radio parameters
window by MS1, and pay attention for MS1 is working well or not,
if the RXLEV of MS1 is

ok, but we cant see the BCCH in the Service + neighbour window
and in the current channel
window the MS1 is NO service mode, we must stop car, stop
recoding, and restart the MS1,
then Lock BCCH----start recordingrunning command; go on
test.
4 when we test in which sector direction we must receive signal
from this sector, if we receive
signal from other sector, it means sector swapped. If we find
this problem, pls call OMC.
5 when we test, we flow the test route, if there have other
roads can test, test it. We should try
our best to test more roads.
6 when we finished the DT, dont leave the site, out put the ms2
BCCH tab, and check its only
include 3 bcch of this site or not, and check the bcch tab is
continuous or not, we must ensured the
bcch and c/I is continuous.
Note: when you DT finished, you must be call OMC guy lock the
site.
