Kindergarten Orientation On the 10th and 17th November, students and staff at Tregeagle PS welcomed our newest Kindergarten students for 2022. Students got to meet their Year 5 buddies and even went on a treasure hunt around our school. We can’t wait to welcome them back at the start of next year. Information on uniforms will be released in early December.

World Kindness 80’s Day

Last Friday, Tregeagle PS celebrated World Kindness Day! Students participated in many activities that encouraged random acts of kindness like giving cards, filling their classmates buckets with kind compliments and making friendship rocks and bracelets. At Tregeagle PS, students are always encouraged to use kind words and actions and it was great to see this all day.

Captain Speeches Year 5 students will present their Captain speeches to the school on Monday 29th November (week 9, Term 4). Students are asked to prepare a short speech 1-2 minutes explaining why they would like to be a captain at Tregeagle PS.

2022 Enrolments

For planning purposes, please advise us if you will be leaving us at year’s end. Whilst this is sad news, we certainly appreciate the heads up for our planning and class compositions for the new year. As a school, we are still welcoming any enrolment applications across all grades. The earlier any applications are received, the better we are able to manage and support these placements into our planned 2022 class groupings.

BUS ZONE Reminders

Just a reminder to parents to please avoid dropping off and picking up students from the front of the school. The bus zone needs to be clear between 8.30am and 9.00am for the bus to have enough room to safely park in front of the school. Please drop off and collect students from the HALL SIDE of the school, as this is a much safer option for students. Thank you for your cooperation.

Change of afternoon arrangements

Please provide a handwritten note to Di (bus driver) if there is a change of bus drop off or pick up arrangements i.e. change of bus drop off location, change of person collecting your child from the bus stop, sleep overs.

School Pick-up Arrangements

If there is going to be a change to afternoon school pick- up arrangements, it is very important for the school and teachers to be aware. Parents/carers need to let the school know before 3pm via a phone call to the office (66295220) or a handwritten note to the classroom teacher. This way, staff can make sure your child is safely collected by the correct person. If the person collecting your child is not known to staff, we may ask to see the person's identification. Again, this is for safety reasons. Thank you for your support in this matter.
