Our company's core competency is the manufacturing of customized earmolds (Otoplastiken) for the fit- ting of hearing aid systems to the human ear. The manufacturing process starts with an ear impression taken by the hearing aid acoustician who sends the impression to us by mail or scan. Afterwards we manufacture earmolds by digital and automated manufacturing processes. In this process the earmold is modelled with a computer. Depending on the manufacturing process the earmold is produced with Dreve material by means of 3D printing processes or automatically milled by CNC techniques. The Dreve Otoplastik GmbH in Unna is a family-run, medium-sized company which has developed to one of the leading international earmold manufacturers. Our company was founded in 1949 by Wolfgang and Inge Dreve. They belong to the inventors of the custom-made earmold and established the first earmold laboratory in Germany. Over the years, they have been developing high quality and biocompatible ear im- pression and manufacturing materials as well as a care range for earmolds. Dreve is continuously working on the advancement and improvement of the earmold production processes and is strongly focused on expansion and growth.
