    Background

    The idea on the dansih part of the project has always been to implement the principles of

    recognition in the overall trainingsystem of the scout organisation.

    This is important for the understanding of the future perspectives.

    We have chosen not to link our training system or recognition initiatives to the formal training

    system. This is because we believe we loos more than we gain. It is already well respected to be a

    scout in Denmark. Furtering that idea will not give our members more options, but will definitely

    restrict the possibilities for adjusting and developing our trainingsystem.

    That Is the main reason we have chosen to focus strongly on the personal and informal recognition.

    The overall goal of the ROLIS in our organisation has been to empower the individual member in

    their own understanding and self assessment of their competencies.

    The idea being that if they are better aware of their competencies they will tell about it to their

    friends, families and colleagues in a different way.

    This is important because by telling different stories about their scouting activites than they do now,we can broaden the understanding of what scouting can do for an individual and society as a whole.

    That way we can work towards a more precise and better understanding and recognition of scouting

    learning in the taget group that are most important to our members, their network. We also believe

    the personal connection is important in spreading influencing a better recognition in society as a

    whole. When we think of our members and the reach of their network it reaches far enough to

    make a significant impact on society as a whole.

    own competences.

    They use a new

    learning managementplatform that includes

    a web-portal and apps

    for the major

    platforms.

    This learning

    management platform

    supports them in

    keeping focus on theirgoals in their day to

    day activities as well

    as helps the training

    organisation market

    and develop the

    training event that are

    demanded

    player in the development

    of our society. It is aboutpersonal growth and

    taking responsibility.

    Scouting is one of the

    places I can go if I am

    interested in speeding up

    my personal development

    and their main activitiesare

    all levels

    - Democraticcitizenship

    - Preserving nature- Friendship, fun,

    extraordinary

    experiences
