These limited SQ² drums will be offered in a Stage 3 configuration, 22“ x 18“ virgin bass drum, 10“ x 8“ and 12“ x 9“ toms, 16“ x 16“ floor tom and a 14“ x 6“ snare drum.

The shells are handmade in Germany from 9-ply, hand-selected North American Maple, featuring the stunning air brushed Stellar Spire finish and black nickel-plated fittings. The snare drum features Die Cast hoops Made in Germany and uses SONOR’s Dual Glide snare strainer system.

The drum kit shows the Stellar Spire in the Eagle Nebula (catalogued as Messier 16 or M16, and as NGC 6611, and is also known as the Star Queen Nebula) in the constellation Serpens.

This piece of art is hand painted over a piano black lacquered base coat at MachArt in Germany and has been high gloss lacquered to perfection in the SONOR factory in Germany. These kits will be available in a very limited quantity and will be timeless and valuable collector pieces.

The Birch Infinite drums feature hand selected premium Birch wood shells, combined with top shelf SONOR fittings (T.A.R. mounting system, Tunesafe and Dual Glide snare system) and Remo USA heads.

The kit will be available in a trio of vintage finishes - Vintage Amber, Vintage Azure and Vintage Onyx - all three featuring offset stain natural color vintage style hoops on bass drums.

The Birch Infinite Drums are very versatile and easy to tune. The birch shells provide tremendous projection and a solid, distinctive warm tone. The smooth, balanced midrange is an excellent complement to the clarity of the highs and lows. The sound, the controlled sustain of Birch, combined with the striking look will make Birch Infinite drums a ‘must have’ for any live gig situation and recording session.

Punch, Power, Playability.Three unique snares are available in the USA. Two of the snares are 13”x7” with Canadian Maple shells that feature black powder coated fittings for a unique, high profile look. The black finish is a high gloss lacquer, while the natural finish is a transparent clear coat over a beautiful maple shell. Each of these drums features the punch and warmth of the Sonor sound.

The third drum is a hot little 10”x5” steel popcorn snare, also with black powder coated fittings and 1mm thickness. This snare is an extremely versatile instrument as your primary snare on a gig, or as a side snare augmenting your sound.
