With much pride and satisfaction, I recollect my contributions in the field of Higher

Education in general and Commerce and Management in particular. My experiences

as teacher, researcher, guide, author, organizer has enriched my life as well has

helped to serve the myriad of causes.

As a Teacher:

Having started my career in teaching in 1993 at Vivekananda Degree College, I have

put in 22 years of experience in teaching and guiding the students at UG and PG

levels. In the class room, apart from teaching Commerce and Management, I have also

found to time to teach human values and build a good rapport with the students. I

state with pride that my students are spread across the globe holding responsible

positions in various fields. During my career as teacher, I have introduced several

innovative and pro-active methods of teaching and made the learning of Commerce &

Management interesting. I have earned appreciation and respect from my student

fraternity as a good and dedicated teacher.

As a Researcher.

I have carried out research work leading to the award of Ph.D degree at

Bangalore University, one of the prestigious and Asia’s biggest University. In the area

of Finance submitted Ph.D thesis titled ‘Support System and its Role on

Entrepreneurial Development in Post-Liberalization Period-An Evaluation Study.

At present Guiding 07 Ph.D Research Scholars of Bangalore and Tumkur

Universities and other Universities in India.

I have published several research papers in National and International Conference
