GRN 550 Free-standing

All models feature multi-channel open impellers and separaterotating cutter blades operating at the pump intake. Well-suitedfor use with liquids containing long fibres or solids which requireto be cut prior to being pumped, minimising the risk of blockingand providing efficiency and economy.GRS models are for lighter duty, in smaller or domesticinstallations; single mechanical seal fitted.The GRN with twin mechanical seals and the GRP, fitted withtriple mechanical seals and oil-filled motor, are for moredemanding applications.GRT, supplied with 4-pole motor, is intended for especiallyrigorous duties. A comprehensive series of submersible sewage pumps featuring EExd IIB T4explosion-proof motors on all models, for use in Zone 1 hazardous gas areas.Materials and design are selected for tough construction, reliability andresistance to wear, with pump casing, motor casing and impeller in cast-iron.All models have Silicon Carbide mechanical seal and oil chamber for effectivesealing of the motor from the pumped liquid. Maintenance is straightforward,with easy replacement of wearing parts.Free-standing or auto-coupling installation mounting are available on all modelsin the series. At the upper end of our range we can supply submersiblepumps selected and in some cases manufacturedspecially for particular schemes.Pumps in discharge sizes up to 800mm are available invarious impeller and pump designs to enable selectionfor highest efficiency, maximum flow., best solids passageor combinations of these key requirements.A feature specified for many applications is the fitting ofan explosion proof motor to enable installation onpotentially explosive atmospheres; most of the pumpsin our larger range, as for those in smaller sizes, haveoptions including Ex-rated motors.

Construction is typically cast-iron, with special materialsfor particular specifications and with wear-resistantmechanical seals in most cases. Most models in therange have installation mounting options ranging fromwet-well auto-coupling, wet-well free-standing, anddepending on motor specification, dry-wellpedestal-mounting.

Duties range up to 100 metres discharge head and up to1000 litres per second and beyond, enabling pumps tobe selected for the largest sewage, drainage andindustrial pumping schemes.

High efficiency oxygen saturation is achieved as a result of fine air-molecules produced, giving an excellent oxygen transfer.The submersible aerators are ideal for improving the oxygen supply in liquids, and treatment processes where the biologicaland chemical oxygen demand is high. The aerators are supplied complete with a silencer and valve set, although the air-feedpipe is not included, but can be supplied as an extra to suit your application. T-T Pumps Planet® Range of Package Pumping Stations provide an efficient and economical way ofinstalling a sewage/drainage pumping station and are available on short lead-times to fit in with tightconstruction schedules.

Pump chambers are well engineered and manufactured in strong impact resistant polyethylene, andstandard units can be adapted to suit individual requirements at manufacturing stage. The smoothinternal walls aid the hygienic disposal of effluents, for the avoidance of smells and septicity.

Your package will come complete with pipework pre-assembled in the polyethylene chamber, ready forinstallation into the ground, after which the pumps and control equipment are added. All PackagePumping Stations are supplied with controls for fully automatic operation, and with high-level alarmindication. A comprehensive instruction manual helps you to get the package working in the shortestpossible time. You are responsible for all installation and commissioning, unless arranged otherwise.

A wide range of submersible pumps can be used for the Package Stations, including the Grinder seriesof high-head macerator pumps for difficult applications.We are able to select from T-T Pumps complete range, in order to match your requirements.

To ensure continued maintenance of

your pumping system, we strongly

recommend that you enter into a

Service Contract, which will provide

periodic service visits, and repairs

if necessary.

Full service and repair facilities,

on-site and works-based are available,

with spares stock-holding.

Both electrical and mechanical work

is undertaken.

All Package Pumping Stations include high-level alarm indicator via float switch in pump chamber. Automatic level control operation is provided,with float-switches separately suspended. Alternative level systems, such as non-contact ultrasonic sensors, are provided to special order.

Depending on the exact requirements for each site, our controls division can design and manufacture control panels to your specification together withisolators, switch-fuses and electrical equipment as necessary. Kiosk housings, for control panels and electricity meter installation, are available for siteswhere no suitable building exists.
