Date of Regatta: Saturday and Sunday, Oct 22nd – Oct 23rd 2016
Friday Oct 21st reserved for check-in; and practice with a mini – race from 2:00pm to 4:00pm
Rules: The regatta will be governed by the rules defined in the current RRS as modified by Appendix E, the DF65 International Class Rules, the regatta Sailing Instructions (SI's), any amendments to the SI's, and any other attached documents.
Eligibility: The regatta is open to all participants with a Dragon Force 65 class boat. The number of competitors will be limited to 46. Entries will be assigned in the order the entry forms are received.
Entry: Any eligible participant, as defined above, may enter the regatta by completing and returning the Regatta Entry Form, together with an appropriate check in US$ to the address indicated. Also it is possible to enter the regatta on-line going to the AMYA site at https://form.jotform.com/53614642380958
The Entry Form MUST indicate at least three (3) available frequencies for each boat entered, unless you are using the 2.4 GHz system.
Boat inspection: Performed during check-in or spot checked during the regatta.
Race Format: Racing will be conducted under the Promotion / Relegation system.The regatta will be scored in accordance with the Low Point Scoring system as set forth in Appendix A of the RRS. The worst finish for each boat shall be excluded if a minimum of six heats are sailed; an additional second worst score will be excluded if twelve heats are sailed, and a third worst score will be excluded if eighteen heats are sailed.
Prizes: Trophies will be awarded to the top finishers ( Number of trophies to be determined based on number of entries. ) If 46 entries are received then five trophies will be awarded plus a masters trophy for the best skipper 65yrs + young and not one of the top 5 winners. Schedule of Events:
Friday 21st 09:00am Registration and check-in.
Practice racing will be available at the Race Site on Friday.
Saturday 8:30am Skippers Meeting
Racing starts at 09:00am with last race starting before 4:00pm
Lunch will be provided at around12:00pm on the Saturday and
Sunday of the regatta between heats.
Saturday 22nd skippers dinner ( Dutch ): 6:30 PM Restaurant to be announced.
Sunday Racing starts at 09:00am with last race not to start after 3:00 pm followed by Trophy Presentation. There will be a special draw for a DF95 following the trophy presentation.
Sailing Instructions: SI's, will be distributed prior to the regatta and discussed at the Skippers Meeting
Disclaimer of Liability: Competitors participate in the regatta entirely at their own risk. See Rule 4, Decision to Race. The organizing authority will not accept any liability for material damage or personal injury sustained in conjunction with or prior to, during, or after the regatta.

Entry Fee: $50 per skipper includes water, sodas, and lunch both Saturday and Sunday, but NOT the Saturday evening dinner. Guest lunches available for $10.
