Subject: Consultant Field Visit for discussing options to
improve irrigation status
Adi: Specialization in irrigation. Mainly internal waterway
construction. Adi indicated to work in joined with a supplier of
sprinkler systems. He also mentioned that his prime experience is
in paddy rice fields with primarily corn. Randy has provided a
birds eye view on TRs operation and why he believes that the
current practice regarding irrigation may be fit for an update.
Adi: Proposed that sprinkler and drip irrigation may be suitable
for TRs objectives but Randy disagreed with the system of drip. Adi
also explained the common procedure he normally follows showing

Data collection on topography, wind, humidity, rainfall, water
resources, soil condition, soil type, soil chemicals, water buffer
storage of the area.
Normal procedure would imply a 1 - 2 month development period to
get to proposal and cost breakdown.
We all moved to Glantangan for the initial field visit. GPS
coordinates have been recorded for further follow up. Waterways
have been examined and need follow up on discharge volume and
physical quality.
A preliminary proposal will be submitted to TR on Saturday 7th
March. Adi agreed to work out differential models including the
