Entry Requirements
A bachelor’s degree in a non-law discipline, or
A bachelor’s degree in law from a non-common
law jurisdiction
Proficiency in English

Information about the JD Programme Contd.
English Proficiency
If the medium of instruction in bachelor’s degree was
not English, then applicants must have:
o a TOEFL score of 600 (paper-based test) or 100
(internet-based); or
o an overall band score of 7 in IELTS, with no individual
score lower than 6.5; or
o a total of 520 in mainland China’s College English Test
(Band 6)

Three direct contact hours for each course every week
2 hour lecture + 1 hour tutorial, OR 3 hour seminar
Full-time commitment mostly daytime classes
